Ruse Estate Retreat Margaret River
What a beautiful tranquil place with the best views in all directions. The chalets are brand new and so well thought out you could easily spend the whole holiday on the property. I wish we had booked for longer.

Ruse Estate Retreat Margaret River
Outstanding accommodation and hospitality in a beautiful vineyard / estate. We had a truly lovely time at Ruse Estate. Thanks so much to Karen for being such an accommodating host, and an amazingly helpful person.Accommodation - 5/5 and excellent in every aspect. It is modern, clean, spacious and we can see and feel the incredible amount of effort that has been put into the details. Aside from the lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, the living area was a proper highlight for us. Double-height ceilings with windows which let in the perfect amount of light, a truly fantastic fireplace which works so well and is completely smokeless with very well-designed ventilation and sealing. Kitchen is fully equipped with quality utensils and comes with an electric hob with four burners, ventilated hood, a full-sized oven, full-sized fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso machine (with capsules), and washing machine. Everything is new; everything works perfectly. It’s obvious that no expense has been spared in making the chalet as comfortable and functional as possible; and let’s not forget the beautiful interior design.Surroundings - 5/5 (I would give 6 stars if I could). If you’re looking for the quintessential Margaret River experience ie staying in a vineyard, close (but not too close) to nature, looking out to stunning scenery from the comfort of your living room, having a bbq on the front porch (gas bbq supplied), then look no further. We stayed in the early-May, which is Autumn, and the yellow-orange-red colours of the foliage were spectacular (photos attached). It doesn’t matter where you look or the time of day; there is a beautiful scene to be found everywhere on this estate. The property itself is about 90 acres and it’s got a little bit of everything from Margaret River all in one place - immaculately maintained (and functioning) vineyard, gentle slopes carpeted with green grass, several large and picturesque reservoirs, a grand tree-lined driveway leading to the owner’s house (private property), and outstanding infrastructure. In summary, Ruse Estate is a phenomenal place for a short (or long) getaway for anyone looking to experience Margaret River and all its wonderful attributes which make it one of the prettiest places on earth. Its owners take great pride in what they do, and have put in a tremendous amount of effort into making its chalets and the surrounding environment as perfect as possible. We very much look forward to coming back, and to sampling the estate’s first wine label (WIP 2024) soon.P.S. We stayed as a couple for four nights in Meeka Chalet. There are three chalets (only) in total, and this means total privacy, exclusivity and personal attention to detail by its owners.

A stunning property tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to explore the region then come home to beautiful chalets amidst the vines and trees. A peaceful place where you can relax and enjoy the tranquillity. A walk around the property reveals the serene spaces that change with the seasons. The hosts are friendly and committed to providing a perfect getaway for you. Absolutely magical.
