Decent beach pool was murky though needs a good high tide storm to wash out the murkiness out of it. Beach was ok it has a brackish water look as it’s combine with Maclean river so it’s going to have that murky brown look all the time if you want a clear crisp beach there are other beaches around that are nicer to swim.

Yamba Ocean Pool
Fabulous ocean pool in a gorgeous coastal town. Didn't want to get out of the pool after a 25km bikeride around Yamba and the cycleway to Angourie Surfing Reserve Lookout. Fabulous end to our day of cycling, picnicking & exploring Yamba. The rock pools around the ocean pool are so pretty with different seaweeds & molluscs than the scarce rock pools we have closer to the border. The lighthouse turning on while we were swimming at dusk was beautiful. Will be back for a wonderful late afternoon salty swim again soon. Thanks for a wonderful day trip Yamba!

Unfortunately the ocean pool is currently closed. All the roads around seem to be damaged by the floodings so probably the pool has been damaged as well.
