Ali ( a senior staff member) thinks it appropriate to bully, intimidate and completely dismiss the cries for help from a young female client (17) ( my daughter) who was desperately trying to secure suitable/ long lasting employment, Instead, Ali placed her into a position within a business that is well known for their bad reputation, horrible work practices that doesn’t pay under the correct award, and fails to pay all hours work. As a government funded organisation I would at least expect these general practices would be followed up to ensure requirements as an agency are met. My daughter was humiliated and accused of stealing money with (no witnesses, cctv proof or police being involved ) infront of several max employment staff members. The way she is spoken to on the phone with threats of “ doing everything in her power” to cut her Centrelink payments last Christmas Eve night, if she didn’t return to this employer. Depressed, intimidated and petrified of losing her payments, she returned to be completely humiliated by the employer videotaping and recording her every move. Max employment still did not stand up for my daughter and her right, just proceeded with their day. They did not provide her with any positive actions or words of advice to overcome her situation, they did not try and assist her with finding better employment/ employers, so as a result she had to request a transfer to another employment agency. Ali still continued to serve unprofessional, malicious, passive aggressive words over the phone. I ask how this woman a) thinks it’s acceptable to treat people in this manner and b) no one in the max employment office has stood up and said this is unacceptable. Other staff and office management would be well aware that she speaks and treats people this way! You should be ashamed of yourself!
