The Alpine Gables

I made a booking error but Genivieve was absolutely brilliant and sorted me out with a sensational room also with a loft that sleeps 6 in comfort. The room was immaculate and enormous the staff gracious, polite and courteous. I would highly recommend staying here as a steppingstone to the Australian Alps. The management need to be congratulated for their leadership as overall they provided a great stay, many thanks.

The room we stayed in was amazing, very clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a fantastic stay, the location is great and the service was good. There is also a lovely community area with a fire place and comfortable couches.

Great location, great room, helpful host. Room was beautifully appointed but not very clean nor well maintained. The location, few steps from the town centre, made up for it. Will stay again.

Very clean and comfortable room. No noise,sauna was a pleasant change only down side would be the stairs for older people. Helpful staff.

Matt the desk man greeted us with a friendly attitude and was very helpful. The foyer was beautiful and the kids were amazed by the stairs. The room was clean and well equipped. The loft area was a bit warm and needed an overhead fan. The kids loved it and we could walk to all the shops.

Stayed here fir a few days outside ski season. Great price and location. No complaints.

We were upgraded to a large, renovated family room with a balcony overlooking the lake/mountains. Plenty of space and basic cooking facilities in the room were handy for making breakfast. Nice touch with the dishwasher. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location across from the supermarket and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a great experience at the Alpine Gables. Their communication was wonderful from the beginning and the staff were attentive and helpful. We loved the gorgeous aroma greeting us at the foyer and the ambience was nice and warm. We were lucky to have a room with a balcony and the lake view. And the room was immaculate and very well equipped. Location was perfect to explore the town centre on foot and easy to get on the road to nearby places such as Cooma and Thredbo. I wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful place though we'd come back for more adventure in the near future. Best wishes to the team at the Alpine Gables.
