I must admit I had some trepidation, reviews had been mixed. As a contactless service it did feel risky. However, I found the van in its designated spot in excellent condition with a full tank of diesel which was also very efficient.The app worked perfectly to unlock the vehicle and then verify its condition by uploading photos. The drop-off process was equally flawless. The $200 deposit does take a week or so to process, but arrived on cue in my account. I did feel like this was the future of short term vehicle hire. I'll Go Gecko again for sure.

Do Not Use Gecko. I rented online, paid, uploaded license, replied to email verification, did biometric selfie holding license. All seemed OK. Time to collect the vehicle and I was told it was cancelled as my biometric" failed. I sked why I did not get notified of the issue by SMS or Email and they could not answer. I asked when I would get a refund and they could not answer. Still chasing my refund. Abysmal service. No attempt to find me a vehicle or fix the problem."
