R.M.Williams Pacific Fair

Recently I bought Pacific Fair's last green canvas tote, I took it home then realised that there was a defect. The team allowed me to do an easy return, and actually offered to have a new shipped to my address, as the last one in Aus was down in Sydney. To my surprise, it arrived at my door the next day. The team were a great help, and lovely to deal with.

It’s taken me a while to circle back to this and write this review. But I saw the guy in there again today and it jogged my memory.I went into the Pac Fair store a while back and there was a grey haired gentleman who assisted me in the different boots in the range and some sizing etc. All in his job description, I’d suggest.When he asked if I wanted to try them on, I said I’m actually just looking for the moment and at that point his whole demeanor changed. He folded his arms, his attitude did a 180 from wanting to help to not really wanting to talk at all. Hugely unprofessional and rude. My partner was with me at the time and we both walked out laughing at how bad the service was and how noticeably he changed when I said I wasn’t buying today.I avoided buying a pair of RM Williams boots for months, I made a point of not wanting to buy a pair from this particular store, but I eventually did a few weeks back as I needed them for an event the following day.The day I went in the guy who served me the first time wasn’t there, thank god as it was literally burning me going in there and him getting my sale. I’m glad the young guy who served me got it, he was very accommodating and knowledgeable.I work in sales, some of my deals are in the tens of thousands and take weeks to get. If I carried on like this guy, I’d never make any money.Moral to the story is be nice to people who are looking to buy because those people come back!Still burns me that store got my sale, but the boots are great.

Purchased on two separate occasions yesterday at this store...served by Lavon on the first and Jaice on the second purchase...found both very professional.

I had a few minor issues with my boots, I don’t normally take shoes back for warranty but my pair of boots were happily exchanged with a new set with no fuss so much so that I did a little extra shopping while I was there.I’d also say that RM online care is the best I’ve seen in a long time.Thanks again!

I hope someone at RM Williams head office sees my review. Today my husband and I went to the PF Store to look at mens boots. We were served by a lovely lady called Amba. This woman was probably the best sales person we have ever encountered......I'm not joking!! She knew absolutely everything about the products, leathers, sizes, styles, wear ability you name it. We were never pressured or felt like we were asking to many questions (we were!). Hats off to you Amba. A+ customer service.

I normally find the attendants/sale's person not too Knowledgeable about the boots they sell. But spoke with a Kiwi gentleman at your store who had been very knowledgeable even to extent had known about previous out of stock styles etc. Just broadly had found experience yarning to them good, very good customer service.

Nice shop with great display and great genuine staff

Jase was super kind and accommodating. He had such a knowledge on all of the products and knew exactly how to check sizing. Not to mention he was just an all round funny guy. Will definitely recommend our friends to come here for their RM’s.

Fantastic customer service. I bought a satchel bag that had weird wear and tear on it after some months of having it. Looked like something was eating the seam leather. They replaced it, no questions asked. You really get what you pay for! Quality product. Quality customer service.

My wife gave me a $500 gift voucher at R M Williams for my birthday as I’ve always wanted to buy a pair of Williams boots. I went on to their Pacific Fair, Broadbeach store in the Queensland Gold Coast today and was served by a charming young lady who provided me with a beautiful pair of black boots. We had a bit of a hiccup as my wife printed the email acknowledging the purchase of the gift rather than the actual gift voucher. The consultant politely advised us that the printed form we had was the copy of the email and the best way to obtain a copy of the voucher was to call R M Williams head office. My wife called the head office and within a couple of minutes we had the voucher number. Once we tried to complete the purchase, the voucher required a PIN number. The consultant was once again apologetic so my wife called the head office again and they were fantastic in repurchasing the original voucher and organised a new voucher to be digitally sent to my wife’s phone with the PIN. The purchase was then able to be completed. The whole experience was exceptional and our consultant talked us through the procedure in a polite and charming manner. My only downside was I did not obtain the consultants name. All in all, I could not fault the service we obtained today and recommend the store to anyone looking for first rate product with first rate service.
