The Jackson Ranch
My partner and I had a wonderful few days at the Jackson Ranch. The grounds are so well kept, the accommodation is very clean & comfortable and the view from our cabin was so beautiful. There are plenty of close beaches to visit or in nearby Ulladulla. We really enjoyed swimming in the pool, we had the whole area to ourselves. The only criticism we have is the excavation work that was taking place on the property during our entire stay, we had specifically chosen to holiday here for peace and quiet however it was quite distracting at times, especially as it was close to our cabin and right next to the pool area while you’re trying to relax. We understand there isn’t a good time to conduct the works, so it’s pretty unavoidable I guess, however a heads up when we were booking would have been nice. Otherwise, everything was amazing & we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Jackson Ranch. We stayed at Hideaway Lodge which was beautiful, especially with the outdoor/indoor dining room and the evening kangaroo visitors!!The ranch is extremely dog friendly which suited us well. When we stayed, the pool was finished and it was lovely to have an afternoon swim, surrounded by palms and kangaroos. We also stayed when the restaurant was open - food was delicious, atmosphere was lovely, but the highlight was the wonderful manager Shen! Shen really made us feel welcome and helped accommodate us in the best way possible at the restaurant. Shen made our stay perfect, so these 5stars are directed her way. Thank you Shen for helping make Jackson Ranch an unforgettable holiday destination.

Beautiful scenery, nice buildings and layout, cool to see so much wildlife getting around. Awesome view of the lake through the trees. Staff are helpful and very friendly. Food and drinks are top notch. One of the best hidden gems on the south coast.

The Jackson Ranch is the most magical place to host a wedding! We are still on cloud nine after a perfect day celebrating with 120 guests at the Ranch. The food and drink were a standout and the amazing team at JR went above and beyond to ensure our day went perfectly, it was really lovely to see others care just as much about our wedding then we did!We had the property for three days, hosting our wedding, recovery brunch and rewind after party on the property so we got to use every area to it's fullest, including the amazing pool, spa and grassed areas. One of the core reasons we booked is that it sleeps up to 40 guests, so we had our nearest and dearest close to us for the whole weekend. Everyone raved about their accomodation. The grounds are kept beautifully, while maintaining the gorgeous bush meets coastal feel - check out the photos, so many great photo ops! on site and nearby. We couldn't fault The Jackson Ranch and can't wait to see more couples enjoy their wedding at the Ranch. Thanks again JR - we will back!Stace + Brett10.12.22

This review is solely about the ‘pop up’ restaurant in Jan 2023.Our first thoughts at seeing a pop up restaurant at the Jackson Ranch was initial excitement, how wrong we were.Considering the venue is owned by Bannisters, which has a decent standard of quality, The food was terrible and the restaurant lacked all structure. A disaster overall. The menu made you feel like it was a combination of leftovers found in the pantry/fridge, strung together by a random person due to the poor presentation. Also, considering you’re paying approx. $80 a head for the food/drink in such a lovely location it leaves the imagination wondering where they went so wrong. The food was arguably the worst we have had in a while and would strongly recommend anyone to steer clear of the current menu and save the drive.

Had awesome dinner. Beef ribs and 1/2 chicken were so tender and juicy love that sauce on the ribs. Tullamore whisky was great and staff was amazing friendly and approachable. Master G given guarantee

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights in one of the Eco Cabins, and woah! It definitely exceeded our expectations. We loved everything from the well manicured gardens throughout the property to the extremely inviting and relaxing pool area. The pop up restaurant was very well executed, especially with the live dj playing some mellow music in the background - it really set the vibe. The Cabin that we stayed in had everything you could ever need! I’ve cold A/C, coffee machine, bbq, super comfy bed, Smart TV and great views to the lake.We would definitely stay here again.

Didn't stay, looks amazing accommodation.Dinner was delicious yet disappointing system - you order and pay online. And tip - before you've even been served?!?Had to mess around finding a credit card number as the system didn't recognise it was a CC payment..For the prices, I'd much prefer to be full service. And it would be fairer on the staff - they'd get proper tips..
