Wreck Beach Car Park
Great for a walk on the beach if you're fit enough to tackle the 381 steps to the bottom then back up again. There's no signs at the bottom directing you to the shipwreck (which the beach gets its name from) but when looking right you can see the anchor sitting on the rocks in the distance. Which is another 20 minute walk on the sand there & back. Worthwhile though.

Long winding gravel pot holed road. Well worth the effort.

The road to the beach is very rugged and is not suited to many modern cars or city drivers. We had to be very careful to navigate the road so as not to scrape the bottom of our car or get stuck. There isn't much of a view from the carpark but a little walk along the clifftops is quite good. There is a long and steep staircase down to the beach itself which offers great views of the coast and ocean. Fun beachcombing spot.

It's a cool place but make sure it's low tide and be prepared for a lot of steps. No rest rooms and a rough road in.

Approx. 350 steps down to the beach. Some are narrow and thanks to the clay mud, all stairs are very slippery after rain. We visited during low tide which proved to be a wise decision as we where able to run out to the anchors between sets of waves. The furtherest anchor, the Fiji, is a further 700m along the beach.
