I bought a Jetski battery from these guys recently and it was in stock and reasonably priced. The fellow who served me was quite helpful and very knowledgeable.

Very poor customer service experience today - i was told they couldn't test my battery even though they advertise this service on their website. went to battery world in cardiff who were very helpful and resolved my issues without any fuss.

Purchased battery & parts for a lithium dual battery system, staff were helpful and actually quite knowledgeable on their products which is rare to find these days. Pricing was very reasonable also compared to the competition.

The staff are very helpful going above and beyond to help. I trust their advice and their prices are very reasonable.

A real attitude problem!Spent over $3000 upgrading electricals in motorhome with Warners Bay workshop. In part, Installation of DC to DC device entailed fitting an Anderson plug for solar feed-in. My rig already had an Anderson plug (outlet) before the work was done.After a 3 day trip to Gippsland from Newcastle discovered a problem with trailer lights (not working at all). Local  VIC repairer discovered after much investigation that my power to the Anderson plug was non existent which also fed power to the trailer light system. ALL GONE!Once identified, the fix was relatively straight-forward: new wiring from fusebox back to trailer control box; new heavy duty cables from house batteries to external DC outlet Anderson plug.Armed with this information I contacted Clinton from Warners Bay office and explained the situation, his response was disappointing and lacking an apology or sympathy of any kind. Paraphrasing: What do you expect me to do about it?"Today I visited the store on an unrelated matter and raised the issue with Clinton in person. Clinton has no time for  "whingers" and he shut down any attempt to air my grievances about a service failure of Newcastle Batteries making.Apparently his time is too valuable to be wasted listening. Brought a deep cell battery from these guys and was very impressed with their friendly service and didn’t die of shock at the price, will be a returning customer for sure

Had my BMW key fob battery changed here. Man had difficulty opening fob in front of me. He went to the back of shop, to access more tools. Must have used a lot of force, since he broke the plastic fob. Told me it was already broken. It was a new key fob, and the first battery change. Never again. Absolutely, never again!!I looked it up on YouTube. Simple nail lift of a small tab. No tools required!!

Called today with an obscure request. Yep, they had them and ever so slightly dearer than online. (And you'll have to wait 28 days from online and not sure on quality etc etc).Phoned elsewhere. Not sure what I was talking about. Finally found it. Almost twice the price.

Did not have what I wanted. Better luck next week
