Stayed in this area not far from here. Beautiful scenery and the best spot to catch the sunrise and kangaroos.

Guaranteed kangaroo sightings on the walk towards the lookout. The University of New England are currently studying the effects of kangaroos on the local grasslands, hence the reason why a lot of the kangaroos are tagged. At the lookout expect on one side mobs of kangaroos, and the other, beach and ocean views.

Fantastic headland to see kangaroos in their natural habitat. Walk to the end takes around 10mins with great views both north and south.

Definitely worth to see. Absolutely beautiful. Plenty of the eastern grey kangaroos. Also I saw some yellow tailed black cockatoos.

Short walk from the car park and part of the overall Solitary island coastal walk. We drove to this lookout and walked to emerald beach via Shelley beach on a warm breezy day. Splendid water views, dolphin and kangaroo sightings here. Some of them were not shy to be around humans. Recommended walk with kids but some of the parts are not pram friendly.It's a short 5-7 min walk back from Emerald beach to the lookout car park although on a slight incline.
