Absolutely crazily high prices and won't treat animal unless a ridiculous deposit is first paid even though they say the dog will die without treatment.. Money is what these vets care about before anything else.

I've been completely blown away by the level of care provided by the team at Animal Emergency Centre.Huge kudos to the team for doing their best to provide my pup with a speedy recovery <3

On three separate occassions over about one year we have phoned them when our dog has needed emergency treatment. Not once have they helped us, they just tell us to go to Mount Waverley. I don't know why they remain open if they actually can't help in an emergency. If your pet needs emergency help just go straight to Mount Waverley, they are truly caring people who will promptly act to help your pet!

Incredibly rude and unsympathetic receptionist; extremely long wait times - almost 3 hours whilst our dog was vomiting and having diarrhea out the front; always pushing for over night stays; and don’t submit notes to vets the next day. Unfortunately we have no other choice as there are no other 24 hour medical centres to service our area.

Absolutely incredible service. Took our 8 month old British Bulldog in on Monday night as he had been vomiting blood. Had a nurse triage him straight away, and after a short time waiting, the vet brought us in to discuss. We were given three treatment options, which were explained in great detail, as well as the costs involved for all three. We were given time to discuss, and when we were unsure of what to do, given time to see our boy to determine what the best option would be. We decided to bring him home and monitor him. At about 3:30am we noticed his breathing was irregular and rapid, I phoned the practice who then advised I could send a video of him breathing and they could let me know if he needed to come in. After a couple of minutes I got a message advising it would be good to bring him back in. The same incredible vet saw him again, gave me another 3 options, which we then decided pain relief would be a good option. Thankfully this worked out well and he is now back to his normal self.The staff are helpful both on the phone and in clinic, I called multiple times stressing about his condition, with staff providing outstanding support each time. Can’t recommend them enough. So pleased, thank you Dr Andrew & the lovely nursing staff. Super grateful!!

Brilliant place. I meant to leave this review well over a month ago when I took my dog Evie in on a Sunday. Christi (not sure how to spell the name) was considerate, understanding and provided the best care to not only myself, who was stressed and panicked, but also to Evie. The vet herself was okay but the front desk staff were very good on picking up on not only mine but other customers emotional levels from what I saw and were considerate and respectful and that would not be an easy job.Thank you

Well, AEC may not have highest rating on Google but we went there as recommended by our regular vet. All in all, I am happy with the level of care my puppy received and the communications I had with both nurses and vets multiple times. Yes, the bill is high but that’s to be expected as other emergency vets. They helped me lodged a claim with my insurance. It was processed very quickly by Medibank which is fantastic. They also answered my questions over the phone after I took my puppy home and he had certain symptoms of concerns a few days later. Amazing!
