We had the best time visiting Cedar Glen Farmstay! Amber and Michael are great hosts, the food is amazing if you are there on the weekend and the animal feeding is so much fun for all the kids! A great place to take the family and spend some quality time together!

Cedar Glen is an amazing farmstay! We spent 3 nights in the Wallaby cottage which was very comfortable - good beds, a kitchen that has everything you need and a small fireplace keeps the cottage warm. The farm has incredible views, the animal feeds are fun and Amber and Michael make this such a unique experience for the kids! We will definitely be back again soon

The farm and animals there are very nice. Doggies Georgia and Armenia welcomed us and were very happy to have us visited them. Amber and Michael are very kind and managed to arrange all our wanted activities (animal feeding, boomerang flying, whip cracking, cave hike, alpaca walk) in limited time. My 3 teens kids enjoyed the stay and all the activies. They found the cave hike both challenging and facsinating. We will come again. Thank you Amber and Michael!

This is a genuine farm stay, in such a beautiful location. We took our daughter and two young grandchildren for a weekend. What an adventure for our little guys staying in a real old wooden house, feeding all the different animals each morning, collecting wood for our fire pit and just running about enjoying the outdoors. Our cute little Stinson Cottage was very comfy and Amber makes the animal experience very special for the children. Our thanks to all the team for making this such a great weekend with many treasured family memories.

Words alone can’t seem to sum up our experience with Amber and Michael, if I had to just say one thing, it would be that it was definitely an unforgettable stay, and one that would be etched in the kids’ and our memories for a long time!Right from the get go, Amber and Michael spared no effort to make sure we got everything we needed for our short stay with them. Whilst accommodation was no 5-star hotel (that’s the whole point of a Farmstay isn’t it), it wasn’t a problem as the basic needs were definitely covered, and then some. We chose the Stinson Cottage which our family of four were comfortably settled in. Basic amenities were catered for (I.e. towels, blankets, pillows, a full kitchen, heaters) and the cottage provided a rustic feel and a glimpse into what farm life is about. In terms of the activities, the kids and us too had a blast with the animal feedings (think camels, ponies, pigs, sheep, chickens, geese, alpacas, cows), the alpaca walk and the boomerang/whip cracking! Amber and Michael were very accommodating and informative so all of us had a jolly good time!Meals (breakfast and dinner) were provided on request and I must say Amber’s a great cook! My usual picky little eaters loved every bit of it, especially the desserts! The highlight of our trip (or mine and my daughter’s at least) were Prada, Giorgio and Armani, the three super friendly farm dogs! We had so much fun cuddling with them that my daughter bawled when we headed to the city after the Farmstay because she missed them so much! All in all, definitely an experience worth if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and it definitely helps to reconnect the family to what’s really important in life (the limited cellphone reception also helped in this cause). I have my utmost respect for Amber and Michael, for being able to run a farm with so many animals and cater to guests coming in at the same time! I’ve already promised my kids a return trip!

Just spent 2 nights in the Stinson Cottage at Cedar Glen. The cottage was beautiful with spectacular views! Michael was very welcoming on arrival and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the farm. Our 2 young boys loved the dogs that visited the cottage daily.Laura was great during the animal feeding and very informative. She was very patient with the kids and was happy to answer any questions. Amber joined for some of the feedings and also gave us some great information about farming life. It was well worth doing both the morning and afternoon feed as my boys thoroughly enjoyed feeding all the animals and it was very hands on.We would definitely go back.

Personalised experience with different types of animals with Amber and learn to throw boomerang and crack a whip with Michael. Great host with a great historical place far away from the busy and buzzing urban area. Here we slowed down our daily life for the nature. Thank you Amber and Michael for the wonderful experiences.

Great views, great weather! loved all the animal feeding experiences. Kids loved learning about the chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, pigs, alpacas, cow milking and the hanging out with the friendly dogs. The boomerang throwing and whip cracking lessons were interesting , thanks for your patience and including the kids!Take gum boots as after rain some of the tracks are still a bit soggy, but the track was worth it so find the wonderful swimming holes. A wonderful farm stay enjoyed by kids and adults.
