Well worth the visit! It's a beautiful view from the top and great to see the sunset. The walk isn't difficult, and allows you to go at your own pace.

Beautiful location for a picnic. There is a Cafe, toilets, lookouts, and the Memorial Cross.

Beautiful sunset at Major Mitchell's lookout. This area located on the walk to the Memorial Cross. This is the best scenic veiw point on a clear day. Cafè at carpark area and many other walking trails to enjoy. No camping allowed in the Park but great place for a picnic.

Fascinating views and relaxing environment.It worth the trip.I would consider the following when coming to this place:Bring your hiking tools and wear full cover non slippery shoes.Bring your own food and drinks.There are a few BBQ areas if you like to cook your meal here but it would be good to come early and book a space before 12 midday.Take your rubbish with you.

Explore Macedon Regional Park and enjoy lush forests, granite lookouts and spectacular scenery. Mount Macedon and the Camels Hump lookout are two of the highest peaks in the area and easily accessed for panoramic views. There are destinations within the park for all abilities, there is nothing better for your health than getting out and enjoying the nature within this park.

Always beautiful to visit, whether it's visiting the Cross, going for a hike, checking out the avenue in autumn or getting a coffee at a local Cafe. Even just driving around the area is lovely.
