Home Hill Comfort Stop Rest Area
Definitely five star campsite for me, including free hot water shower, quite comfortable cooking place ,laundry and dry machine. Staying time is up to 48 hrs. It’s pretty recommended overnight stop for backpackers.

Great pit stop. If you are traveling long distance this is the perfect spot for rest and free shower. The limit of shower is 5 mins, hot and cold water available. Neat and clean toilets with good amenities.

Ideal for an overnight stay, bit of highway noise and at least 6 trains throughout the night. Hot showers and toilets but free 48 hours .

So far one of the best amenities on Queensland! There is a kitchen with hot water to clean your dishes in case you need it and free wifi. The bathrooms were so clean and there is hot showers as well.If you want to stay one night make sure to be there early or probably you won’t find a place to park near the amenities.

Great spot for an overnight stop. In the centre of town. Toilets and hot showers available with a camp kitchen area. All clean and well maintained. Grassed area with table and chairs. Cross the road to the Great Northern for dinner or in the morning, visit the bakery to grab fresh croissants and a hot chocolate/coffee for brekkie. Although parking is alongside the railway line, we only had one train pass by during the night.

Good for free overnight rest stop. Has good, clean amenities including shower. Nice grass area with tables. Right in town, shops, pubs, bakery were good. Only thing, if you sleep light it's right beside the railway ( we had 6 trains overnight) other than that can't fault it.

A great hidden treasure for the travelers. Toilets and showers available as well as overnight camping. A covered kitchen area including bbqs and a sink plenty of seating Parking on the street with plenty of shade. All wheelchair friendly. We’ll do e to Rotary and council for such a great set up 10⭐️

Home Hill Comfort Stop Rest Area
Had to stop here due to highway being closed. Great free 48hr rest stop. Home Hill community provides great clean amenities at this stop. Showers, toilets, Bbqs, sinks and water to fill up your jerry cans. This is a great free spot for travellers, show your thanks and spend a little something at local businesses whilst here. Thank you Home Hill.

Wow shows how effective a free camp is. Had breakfast here cause had a friend camp with a warm shower that didn't use though. And was quiter than paid camps been at. Will stop here again thanks home hill.
