Stunning environment which truly highlights what Victoria has to offer. It has challenging walking and hiking tracks at every level. This is what life is about, being surrounded in natural beauty and serenity. All of this only a short distance from Melbourne metro area with a great parking lot, making this park very accessible.

Completed the 4 hour Lerderderg Gorge Circuit Walk. Most stair climbing in my life. Swore I was about to die a couple hundred times. But made it to the top nonetheless! The walk down was very steep and slippery. You also have to cross some water, so be excited for some wet socks.Keep an eye out for appropriate signage, it's quite easy to get lost.

What an amazing experience going there. It was surreal. Did the full 3.5 hour walk. This is not for everyone. Some of the areas were quite steep. If you want to loose yourself with nature, this is the place to be.

Great place for Hiking with many route options. We completed the Lerderderg gorge circuit and also took a bit of detour on the Spur track after passing the Graham's dam. I've seen many posts that Lerderderg is a popular place for snakes, but we didn't see any snakes with the slightly cold Weather.

I loved it here the last time I was here. I would have been about 8 years old, and being able to take my children there now was just special for me. It's absolutely beautiful you can go for a picnic, a walk and of course a swim. If you love nature walks, I recommend you check it out you won't be disappointed.

It was very nice hiking experience. Highly recommend to follow the map or AllTrails offline map. Highly recommend for winter hiking, average for 8km hiking trail may take 3-4 hours

It is a hidden gem that captivates with its breathtaking natural beauty. The Spur Track Hike, with its complete steep crossing of the Grahams dam, offers an exhilarating adventure that rewards every step with awe-inspiring vistas. As I traversed the trail, I was engulfed by the sheer majesty of the towering cliffs and cascading waters, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity. The trail's challenging ascent amplifies the sense of accomplishment upon reaching the pinnacle, where the panoramic views stretch as far as the eye can see. Grahams Dam and the Spur Track Hike combine to create an unforgettable experience, a testament to the enduring power and allure of nature's wonders. It took me about 2 hours to reach LER507 from LER200.

From MacKenzies Flat Picnic Ground I walked to Link Track 2 following the river. From there it was a steep climb so I chose not to go any further. I really enjoyed the variety of river and bank views. The water crossings were fairly easy and I didn't lose the track.

‘All Trails’ suggests this is a moderate hike but if you’re doing Circuit Walk, I’d suggest preparing for an almost hard hike with waterproof footwear and an appropriate level of fitness. ⛰️ Circuit Walk was 10km–at max 442m altitude–which we did in under 3 hours. Steep hills but the views when you get to the top was absolutely worth it. Not a lot of signage or indication of distance but there are orange markers which should help guide you. I would download the maps as you won’t get a lot of service out there (even with Telstra).Heaps of parking and picnic areas so you don’t feel crowded. Toilets at Mackenzie are drop toilets with no water sinks.
