Lane Cove Thai Eatery
Last night was day 4 of this new Thai restaurant’s opening and we are delighted to report that the traditional Thai food was excellent. We ordered 4 dishes, new appetisers (veggie and duck spring rolls, holy basil duck, and Thai fried rice with prawns). Dishes were served with very good presentation. But the tastes were exceptional. Highly recommended. We are happy to say that we live within walking distance and this will become a regular for us. Only negative was the music; definitely not relaxing music for dinner time.

Best Thai addition to Lane Cove in a very long time... Really committed to providing great quality tasty food and lovely staff. Have dined and also had takeaway and consistently good every time.

Great addition to Lane Cove village. A family run restaurant that knows what they are doing. Mum and daughter in the floor with sone helpers, dad in the kitchen with sone helpers. Clearly not their first venture into the restaurant world. Faultless in food, staff, ambiance, location.

Great food, great service, great prices, great addition to Lane Cove.Went for impromptu dinner, food was great, I think the Holy Basil Duck was the winning dish but PadThai and Crispy Barramundi was also awesome. What topped it off was the service, great family run restaurant with people that care about their patrons experience and food. Will be a regular customer!

We had lunch yesterday at this new little gem of a restaurant in the village in Lane Cove, just opposite Harris Farm markets. The staff were just so warm and welcoming and the food was the best Thai we have eaten. The Pad Thai was a standout but to be honest, all the dishes we tried were delicious. The prices are so reasonable for the quality of the food, at the moment the restaurant is BYO. Lane Cove Thai Eatery will be our go to restaurant from now on.Highly Recommended.

Laksa was amazing. Pad se ewe amazing balance not overly sweet. More towards traditional Thai food. This is my new local Thai

Overall, the experience was very good. We ordered delivery from their website which was straightforward and easy.The two main meals were tasty and generous portions. Lots of duck included in the curry.Two negatives overall..firstly, the website said it would be 35 mins however it took 60 mins. I don't mind waiting 1 hour but just be upfront from the start.Secondly, the entrees were only 2 portions instead of the usual 4 portions. Price per serve is more expensive and annoying. Please change these to 4 servings and increase the cost of the dish by a few $$.No doubt will try again.
