The Team was really helpful and friendly since we step in the shop. The process of renting was so convenient, although there was a small crowd. The friendly staff didn’t keep us waiting around, but got us to start trying on other gears that wasn’t crowded.You guys made our trip really fun!

Mansfield discount ski hire shop in Mansfield, is a one stop shop we met a striking sales lady Bex upon arrival that did not waste time to get us fitted out with what we needed to ski.This is what you call outstanding customer service, especially when it comes to ski hire.The skisYou are taken to a fitting section and measured for the correct boots, then instructed how to put them on and off.Then you are taken to the ski section to select the ski according to your level of skiing ability.Take my advice here please listen to every word that they say as it's vital for first timers or people that have not been skiing for a very long time.We compared the cost of ski hire to the surrounding locations in Mansfield and of course Mt Buller.To be really fair this ski shop is open from 630am till about 7 pm.We could not find better customer service at a competitive price, if we came again, sorry when we come again there will be no need to research price.This 10 star customer service even goes higher, as we hired wheel chains so lochi, one of the staff, comes out to our car to make sure we have the correct size chains then shows me how to fit the chains.Please if you never fitted snow chains before listen to what he tells you, it's important for your own safety.We found the price of goggles at Mansfield ski hire shop were the same as what we paid at our local shopping centre, so it's really a one stop ski hire shop.We went to the very large ski hire shop as you drive into Mansfield and found the prices higher.It's not cheap to go skiing at Mt Buller so it pays to shop around.In my opinion Bex at Mansfield ski hire knows the meaning of solid customer service.By the way my first day of skiing was fantastic, the skis made me look good.Second time around we noticed the customer service has declined as the staff seem unfriendly and not really interested as much as our first experience last year.The rating has been reduced to 3 stars

Super fun, helpful, and knowledgeable staff

Did my research on the best and cheapest place to rent ski gear and Discount Ski & Snowboard Hire came out on top. I paid $137 for 6 days of hire. There was no wait time at all, I was in and out of the place within 10 minutes. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend going in the afternoon before your first day of skiing unless you get there as soon as the open in the morning as it is a small store and can get busy quickly
