Amateur hour, avoid..So I had my car repaired through NRMA and Greg Wilson Smash was who they took it to.The Panel work was good, but that’s about it, the wheel repair was also good, but they sent them Somewhere else for that.They cleaned the inside and out of the car, but I have no idea what they used on the front window because any water just made it almost impossible to see through and I had to thoroughly wash it to remove the residue, they also neglected to clean the wheels on the drivers side, so one side was all shiny and the otherside was not..Upon retrieving my car after them having it for 64 days, that’s 9 weeks! (Given it’s a German car and parts sometimes take a couple weeks to arrive, it’s still excessively long) I noticed quite a few problems.There was a new wind noise on the passenger side (the side that was repaired) like they haven’t put something back properly, the passenger seatbelt was broken and no longer retracted, the fuel cap teather was snapped (minor issue, but combined with everything else annoying) and an error light on the dash, they rang me regarding this and said they were going to send it to Bellbowrie Motors for them to sort out, alas it was still there when I collected the vehicle, not sure if Bellbowrie neglected to fix it or if the car was even sent to them at all, (did some research, it appears to be an engine sensor of some kind, possibly air, I don’t know if it was damaged from impact, something they did or purely coincidental, but just another bloody thing I have to sort out)But it doesn’t end there, the repaired wheels were only inflated to 20PSI or under so the car pulled to one side and felt like I had a flat, the wheels are also staggered, meaning the rear is wider then the front, but they were installed backwards, meaning front was on back and vice versa, resulting in the front or rather rear wheel rubbing the front strut.The bolts are also two different sizes due to this and they were seemingly installed at random, with a third bolt of a different size they must have found somewhere and thrown in too, hopefully there’s no damage to the inside of the rotor or the thread (this car has bolts that go through the rims and into the rotor as opposed to static bolts that go the other way with nuts on them)But worst of all, the original reason I had the car towed in the first place was the fact the radiator was damaged from the impact and leaking, when I got the car back, the radiator was still F#€king leaking!!Basically this has left a really bad taste in my mouth and I have since opted for NRMAs optional extra ‘any repairer’ to avoid anything like this in the future.

Fixed my car within the timescales stated. Was recommended to me and I would recommend to anyone else. He's busy because he's good.

Had my Mercedes paint corrected by Greg and his Team. The bonnet had to be sprayed and I was a little edgy about the results. I asked Greg about the process he uses and what I could expect the colour match to be. His answer was that I should not be able to tell the difference, exactly the answer I was looking for. The finished job is great and I am really happy with the outcome. I went to Greg because when I enquired as to who is the best Spray Painter in Coffs, his was the only name recommended by an Antique Hit Rod enthusiast. Thanks guys for a great outcome.Dennis

My car was taken here after someone smashed into me. I was told 6 to 8 weeks depending on parts availability and they had my car back to me in under 2 weeks I am very very happy with the service and constant updates that they sent me to let me know where they were up to with the repairs, highly recommended this company and there professionalism with their work.
