Wide selection of both Chinese and Hong Kong speciality dishes/cuisine. Have returned quite a number of times.The hand pulled / shredded chicken is the BEST in Sydney. Hands down. Everything else is not bad.Very popular restaurant, so try to avoid busy periods or be prepared to wait a short time. Once seated, the staff are very quick and responsive in taking your order or any questions that you have. Food is also rapidly flowing out of the kitchen, don't expect to be waiting too long after you order.Price wise it's not expensive nor is it cheap. Be expected to pay around $25-30 per dish on average. The portion sizes are decent.5% discount if you are paying by cash! This beats credit card surcharges these days.

Worst food i have ever eaten in my life, chef forgot to season the noodles and send it back to kitchen, seen 3 different people tasting from the plate and they throw the same noodles in the wok and bring it back and said its a fresh one . Disgusting how low people can go for business and making profit.Had to walk out empty stomach. BBQ duck was good. Thanks and never again

Been here a few times. It's a bit and miss when it comes to their food.On our last visit, we ordered green beans, plus sweet and sour prawns. Both dish were delicious, but the green beans still had strings (spines?) on it.

The quality and the menu has dropped significantly since the last time we came. The service was very nice and helpful, and the staff were attentive. The price of the meal was reasonable, It was around $115 for 5 people. However, that being said, a couple of the menu items we ordered ended up being cancelled as they said they were not available. One of the entrees came dead last as we were paying for the bill.The best dish was probably the special fried rice, everything else was extremely lacklustre. The Salt and Pepper Calamari was very disappointing and was not as good as it used to be, and some of the menu items that we used to get all the time such as the thicker udon style noodles are gone, which is a shame as it was one of the best times on the menu. The soft pork and bean noodles were very bland and flavorless. The Mongolian Beef was cooked well, but lacked flavour and spice. The Prawn Dumplings were still quite nice even though they arrived very late. The San Choy Bow was very soupy, and was also a bit disappointing. At previous points, we would have easily rated this restaurant at five star, but with the menu changes and the quality starting to deteriorate, it's drastically come down.

Mama’s Wok offers unconventional and exotic dishes as well as some common choices from a range of Asian countries.The sliced chicken was impressive and for people who dig heavier tastes I would recommend it. The skin of the chicken from this dish is often a challenge for some kitchens and can be a bit on the fat side and would leave an unpleasant aftertaste but Mama’s Wok has executed this really well.We also found that the deep fried eggplant with salty egg sauce very interesting. It resembles the taste of tempura but added the touch of Shanghainese salty egg sauce. This was a new thing for us.The Egg Tofu/Bean Curd with seafood was refreshing. The ingredients were fresh and cooked just right. The BBQ pork, on the other hand, was dry and overcooked. Ultimately we had to return it, which was unfortunate as the rest of the dishes were pretty well done.Overall an enjoyable experience and will be back for some more.

Third time here. Signature hand pull/shredded organic/free-range chicken is the dish that kept getting us back. It is simple but VERY delicious. We tried new dish of pork tripe pepper soup today, basically it is good but I would love to have more white pepper in it to have stronger flavour soup.
