Heritage Bakery

There is nothing really impressive about this place which is disappointing since they have a great location and a heritage building. Although the potential is high the quality and creativity is low. The atmosphere is not that comfortable, for example the seating, music and friendly feel. It is expensive, and In addition to that they do not accept cash so you will be paying bank transaction fees. In the morning the item we purchased did not taste fresh but perhaps was baked yesterday. There are much better options close by and after trying this place a couple of times it is just not worth trying again.

We tried the pies (pepper steak and cheese & bacon) and they were pretty good. Tender chunks of beef and good flavour. On the down side the bases were a bit on the soft side and the gravy had a light gray appearance.

For the second time we have left this bakery without eating due to terrible service. As we were trying to give it the benefit of the doubt this time, we won't be back. The server (an older lady) was exceptionally rude to my partner, the other server (a young girl) ignored us for 20 minutes while there were no other customers to serve. I honestly don't think I've had a server as rude as this woman. It was kind of breathtaking.I know this bakery relies on its reputation for having great food, but when you rely on actual money to survive as a business and you don't seem to care that a $100 order chooses to walk out due to your attitude, the food better be amazing. Unfortunately for these guys it's just not good enough food, there are so many great bakeries popping up in the area. Which is where we ended up going to buy food for the family. Try one of the newer places, don't give these guys your money.

We went to this bakery on 2 occasions and can't say the service improved.The first time we went the service was awful and very un friendly. They have quite a few options in terms of pastry, pies, and bread.There is seating inside and outside, the bakery was a nice looking building and prices were okay. The only thing that killed it was the bad service and the second time we came they had run out of most of the cabinet.

We ordered 2 croissants. Both cold straight out of the fridge and rock solid. Friend order an ice office with Icecream but couldn’t drink it as they had no straws. They refuse to take cash. Honestly the worst bakery I’ve ever gone to. Customer service is not it the young bloke and young chick were nice. The older lady’s are rude.

Always a great place to stop. Yummy Campos coffee, bakery delights and Bodala ice-cream.Easy to park, always clean inside and out. Clean toilets and plenty of them with family friendly facilities.

Great friendly service and the sausage rolls and neat pies were very tasty. We will be back for the gelato while staying down here.

Great old heritage style bakery. It has many types of pies, desserts and pastries.Good coffee here also and plenty of space to sit and relax.There is car park in the back, with ample parking.Toilets are 4/5 not bad.Seating outside and moreGreat place to stop for a short break and or lunch.

We ordered chicken&veggies; steak mushroom pies.Pastry was delicious and tasty sauces.Super recommend to try when in town.
