Dean AbbeyThe cabins are privately owned, not owned by the caravan park. The amenities are run on gas and we have not not run out of gas.

Ordered some food and a drink from the shop, the chips were raw and the hamburger was bland and flavourless overall was $24.50 extremely overpriced and very poor quality. I went back and commented to the girl who made it, she was rude and combative with me.Would not recommend.

Great little convenience store in the reception and they sell hot food, all fishing gears , snacks drinks and more. Worth the price. No Aircon in the cabin only have a cooler but they have electric blanket. Room not very clean but ok for the price.

In need of some TLC. We stayed for two nights during during summer school holidays. Not busy at all. Reasonable priced, but you pay for the showers ($1 for 3 min), pay for the BBQ. The camp kitchen doesn't have a stove top or oven. It is weather proof, but the furniture looks like they collected it of someone nature strip. The alot of permanent residents. Appears to be popular for boating.Sites not very level

Absolutely worst powered site we have ever had, park van on slab??never ever done this before and park car next to van, so can’t put awning out. Apparently that’s how they do it here. We have hybrid van with slide out kitchen and fridge that we couldn’t even open properly. Also the dearest at $50/ powered site . Never again for us. No other tourists vans in, I wonder why

Left early as it was grubby no hot water in the afternoons and the amenities were dirty by the afternoon the sites were really basic and all the cabins needed attention to the outside a bit of gardening would be good

Great place to go and stay with lots of amenities. Showers $1 for three minutes. Washing machines are $5 a wash and $4 for dryers! Great place to get some much needed jobs before going out to free camp!

Just don't do it!!!We booked 4 nights powered site at what we thought was a caravan park for tourists. The place was a dump. Not one tourist caravan in sight. 4 empty concrete pads. No shade. The place is full of permanent residents on permanent sites. Untidy, lots of males gathered around drinking alcohol. We politely asked for our $100 back, as we were not prepared to stay in such a place.Absolutely no Customer Service. Told that's the policy and too bad!! Save yourself the disappointment and $$'s.It's such a shame they don't value the customer. Word of mouth, and social media will cost them dearly...so much m ore than my $50.Shame on you Hillcrest!Good luck with your business...you won't last long with your current policies!!!

I didn't stay in the park, though the cabins look great! I grabbed a burger, pie, sausage roll and chippies, everything was cooked to perfection! The beef burger with the lot was absolutely delicious and everything was reasonably priced. I'll be heading there for any takeaways in the future.
