Dawn Mowers and Hire Equipment

This shop is horrendous. Used it for the first time when it became my local Stihl dealer and found the staff to be irritable and bad tempered when attempting to understand my queries regarding stock, so didn’t purchase a new chainsaw with them. Months later(this week) I tried again, this time to have some chains made for me. I explained that it was for a very important job on Friday. I Was told on the Tuesday that they would hopefully be done today but definitely for my job on Friday. I called Wednesday and had not been done. I called again Thursday and had not been done but was promised again they would be done. No phone call, nothing. Big job tomorrow and I don’t have the chains I need for my saw. Will have to head to a proper Stihl dealer on my lunch tomorrow. Useless. Making chains takes minutes, and I know they had time as while I was there they stood around complaining about customers they found annoying and poor reversing in the car park. They’re so bad, it’s actually funny. Also stock next to nothing useful. Save yourself time and go to Plenty Mowers or Stihl Ferntree Gully. The extra drive will still be less time than waiting for these clowns to get back to you

Very weird place, the team sounds like very sullen every time we go. The team is also very confused most of the time. After dropping off a power head for repairs, we were told we need new part for it, which is fine. We got a call after days that everything is ready, we went next morning and we were told our power head has been picked up by someone else?!?! After half hours they finally found it and we took it home. Weeks later, we got a call again and the team told us that our power head is ready and can be picked up?!?! Similar things happened a few times, if they were not so close to us we would not have used them, but will not use them again

These guys are the best in the business, you can trust them to give you the best advise everytime in my experience. Craig in service was so helpful in my recent experience calling to give some advice when giving my brushcutter a service, gave me a call that saved some money and gave me a better outcome, I have hired equipment from them bought a couple of mowers - great team.

I picked up my lawn mower today after sending it in once it stopped starting. The lawn mower came back in great working order and the clean presentation of the lawn mower showed how much pride they take in their work. Exceptional customer service every time I've been in there so it not just a once off and different person each time. Highly recommended store.

Dropped a blower off to be serviced at Dawn mowers. After not hearing from them for weeks, I contacted them to find out if it was ready to be picked up. They said on the phone they couldn't find it and that they would call me back once they found it. Never heard back from them. So I called back a week later and was informed they had thrown my blower out.No call to ask of that was okay with me. Im absolutely disgusted by the lack of professionalism. I would of taken it elsewhere to be repaired or even used as parts. They had no right to just throw it out.Be going there for many many years. Will never be back or reccommed.

Placed an order for a product displayed but was sent the wrong model. Honest mistake from their side which is easily fixed, I thought. I've sent messages both via their website and Facebook but I'm still to hear back from anyone. This business is a joke business. Stay away and take your business somewhere else.

I just wanted to pass on my exceptional customer service i have recently experienced. I recently purchased a new toro zero turn mower and unfortunately it had a faulty v belt. One phone call to Steve at dawn mowers and a replacement belt was ordered and in store the next day. The customer service did not end there, Steve delivered the belt to me at home after hours in Lang Lang. A Huge thanks to Steve and the team at Dawn Mowers who have gone above and beyond with customer service,and making my purchase very easy, and the after purchase support is second to none.

Hired the 29 ton log splitter. Great service from the guys here. Great pricing plus reasonable delivery charges. Will hire from these guys again. 5*
