The trainers are highly skilled and all working in their industry so they know all the latest tips and tricks of their trades. They are down to earth, and really care about their students. Maggie is the makeup queen and her love for the industry and her students is felt the minute you walk through the TBA’s door. Highly recommend to anyone who really wants a school that supports you long after your course has ended.

I have just completed the PRO Nail Tech course and couldn’t be happier with how the course ran. The teachers are current nail techs working in the industry who hold a wealth of knowledge and relevant and up to date information, tips, trends etc. Any question was always answered and the support from start to finish was incredible, not just from our teachers but from TBA and Maggie too. I learnt so much and watched my work improve tremendously over the 12 weeks. Couldn’t recommend TBA enough if you are wanting to get into the industry.

During my courses, my trainers were some of the best in the industry and their expertise was evident in every aspect of the course.One of the things that stood out to me was the hands-on approach to learning. The trainers made sure that we had ample opportunity to practice and perfect our skills, which was incredibly helpful. They were patient and supportive, and always willing to answer any questions we had.The course covered a wide range of facial and hairstyling techniques, from basic application to more advanced techniques. The trainers were able to break down each technique in a way that was easy to understand, which made the learning process much more enjoyable.Another thing that I appreciated about the course was the emphasis on using high-quality products. The trainers made sure that we were aware of the importance of using quality products, and they provided us with a variety of products to use during the course.I have completed the hairstyling and facial course and I am starting my nail course soon. Highly recommend!

I enrolled at TBA over 7 years ago and completed the beginners make up course. It gave me the confidence to feel comfortable in my own skin.I recently enrolled a family member to do the Spray Tanning course, I was over dodgy tans, now I get professional tans from my bathroom at home. The hand's on practical style of learning you get from TBA is AMAZING.Apart from the hand's on style of learning, what I love best about TBA is the support and guidance from the moment you start to end, even 7 years later. Maggie & her team of professionals encourage and support you through the whole process.

I started my journey at the TBA as i wanted to expand my knowledge and update my skills in both hair and makeup. As the industry is always changing and evolving. TBA had the course's that i needed to just do that. I completed Basic Editorial Hairstyling, followed by Advanced Bridal Hairstyling and last Advanced Makeup all done on site and online during lockdown. The use of online classes was an amazing experience during lockdown as it meant you are able to watch the class again and was a place you were able to ask the necessary question via their online forum. The team at TBA are an amazing team made up of individuals that are working in the industry. Their passion and love for what they do is shown when they teach and the on going support and guidance to all students that come through their doors is amazing! To individuals wanting to start their career in the beauty, hair and makeup industry, the team at TBA will help you get started and guide you along the way. I highly recommend learning at TBA. I will be for sure returning in the new year to learn a few more skills to add to my business.

I loved my time at TBA, could not recommend more! Everyone was so friendly and supportive. Maggie really wants to see her students succeed, nearly 12 months on we still have a relationship and she helps me with my career. When I started at TBA, I was no where near as confident as I am now. 5 stars is an understatement. I would give all the stars in the universe to TBA.I have been admiring Maggie Tamarua’s editorial works for a very long time till I discovered this academy ran by her. Guess who wanna learn everything from the person u’ve been looking up to? Me!!Maggie is a true professional in the field and her passion to teach and support all the students is something u won’t find anywhere else. I’ve done a few courses here and there in the past and I’m telling u that I’ve hardly learned anything. It’s a total opposite here at my first class with Maggie. I felt like all my questions were answered and i can trust her with all my heart. Maggie treats everyone with respect and honesty.
