Derwent Valley Resort
Our experience was excellent.Our room was clean and comfortable.Our breakfast was included and was plentiful and tasty.New Norfolk is a beautiful town, 2 day's wasn't enough for us.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The manager interrupted her dinner to book us in after reception had closed. She'd put heaters on in the room as it was a cold night. Rooms were very comfortable clean and it was lovely and quiet. Highly recommended

Clean and modern with amenities as described. Short 15min walk into town and shopping centers coles .Good pizza shop up there as well. Shared spaces no problem. Even have a full size billiards table. Foxtel in the main foyer. $10 Continental breakfast great value.Hosts in reception were very friendly and helpful. Gave a full tour of the buildings.Excellent value for money as well. Secure.

We loved this place , the man on the desk was friendly and helpful he told us the history of the building and the plan of the owner to redevelop the site. The restoration he has undertaken is bold and exciting. The work done so far is outstanding the rooms are clean and modern but retain there sixties charm. There is plans to restore the theatre , restaurant swimming pool, etc. Well done. We would love to stay again. It has homey feel to the place

It's a nice place, clean.. Has a all you can eat breakfast (must pay)..The rooms has a kettle, toaster, and microwave.It was pretty noisy at night, people running and slamming the doors (not exactly the owners fault) but no one stops them also.

Made very welcome from the start! Staff so friendly and helpful! Lovely clean and modern rooms! Had our five month old baby boy, staff ran off and got him a port a cot and blankets towels, then came back with a bowl of lovely local cherries and to make sure we was comfy!

Was a roof over our heads, but that's it. Bad vibes in room , as it used to be an old Nursing home. Tiny room with bathroom bigger then bedroom. For the disabled they said, but you would not get your wheelchair around the bedroom. No aircon or fan. No screens on windows , with numerous millipede crawling through hallway and into rooms. False advertising as it is not a Resort at all , and feels eerie , not comfortable. This motel does not serve breakfasts / food like most. Other guests complained too, saying it's like Faulty Towers"."

The service is lovely, has a great atmosphere and the areas/rooms are always being cleaned daily. There is a big dining room available and another room with an 8 ball table for guests to enjoy also. Is great in presentation and is very welcoming!

A great place for an overnight stay. Very comfortable and conveniently located if you're traveling towards Hobart. I'd give a 5, except that the room doors are very noisy and disturbs everyone around everytime it's opened.
