Captured by Alison

Alison is a wonderfully talented photographer who perfectly captured the essence of our new family unit and precious, candid moments. She was able to get big smiles out of our little one even between bouts of crying, feeding and naps - a lot of action for one session! We would recommend her in a heartbeat.

I have had 3 photoshoots with Captured by Alison now. The first one was with my daughter, who was 1 at the time, my daughter was shy and clung to me but Alison has a way with children and was able to get some beautiful photos. I was so impressed I went and arranged a family photo shoot a month later. Fast forward 3 years, I wanted another family photoshoot with my newborn in them and Alison, once again, was amazing with my daughter and helped us all feel at ease. My daughter liked Alison so much she asked when we would see her again. The photos we received were absolutely amazing and I was once again super impressed!I highly recommend Captured by Alison!!

Alison is an incredibly talented photographer, we absolutely love her warm and magical style, and whenever we want some nice reminder of our family, she’s the one we go to. She makes you feel at ease straight away with her warm and smiling personality, and she’s great with juggling the kids, taking great shots amidst what feels like chaos. Can’t recommend her highly enough!

Alison captures beautiful natural shots of my family interacting together. A lovely mix of group and individual shots. My kids relate so well with her and enjoy taking photos each year. Highly recommended!

Fun photoshoot! Great customer wardrobe to pick outfits from. Alison was relaxed yet professional. I love the fact that she is a mum and understands how kids can be. Our photoshoot involved 2x kids and 1x dog and none of it seemed to worry Alison. Beautiful photos that arrived in a timely manner. It was great that we could share the link to our photo gallery with extended family so they could order photos too. We plan to be returning customers.

I was very nervous about getting our family in front of the camera for portraits. Alison made it such a wonderful, relaxing and fun experience for the whole family. She captures the love and the family bond like no other photographer I have ever worked with before. The portraits are just stunning. Alison is amazing! I am extremely happy with her and her fantastic work! Our session was scheduled in 2019, however been postponed for almost a year by bushfire and covid-19, during the whole time Alison kept me up to date.When we met, she was very friendly and really know how to hang out with kiddos. I was not sure about having family photos shoot in the beach, however the final work is unbelievable amazing and full of warmness, we all love it! Highly recommend Alison! I've already recommended her to my friends!

Alison was so amazing to work with for our family photos. She captured us so well (even on a windy, cold day)! From the initial questionnaire to get to know us, through to the photo shoot day, she was professional, warm and such a pleasure to work with!
