Clean Cut Tiling

I would highly recommend Salam and would definately use him again without hesitation. The quality of his work is excellent.

Be wary of engaging this tiler. Salim was contracted to tile my laundry splashback in a herringbone pattern. I should have turned him away when he arrived in plastic slippers, purely on an OHS principle. I instructed him to do a herringbone pattern and he assured me that was no problem. I trusted him to do a good job and I let him finish the work. After he left I realised that his Herringbone pattern wasn't at 45deg and was completely skewed. See my photos. When I called him he simply told me that I asked for Herringbone and that it was my problem that I didn't state it needed to be at a 45deg angle. EVERYONE knows herringbone is tiled at 45deg! That is the what makes the herringbone pattern symmetrical. He returned to see the job and became very rude and quite aggressive. I managed to get an 80% refund of the labour cost but I'm now stuck with a wonky herringbone splashback that can only be rectified by ripping it out and installing new plastering, purchasing new tiles and employing another tiler. Avoid this tiler if you want quality work.
