Woolworths Metro Boronia Park

We are very disappointed in our online shopping experience with this particular store after trying to avoid in person shopping. After paying a premium for fresh produce (eg 80c per tomato), it would be assumed your employees would select nice vegetables for us. I came home to find that all the fresh produce was subpar in quality and small; tomatoes half the size of usual, a rotten avocado, wilted spring onions and soft broccoli clearly going bad. As if they had purposely given us the produce no one would choose in the store despite us paying extra having shopped online. Furthermore, while it is understandable you are busy given the current circumstances, we could not get chicken breast due to stocking reasons. I would expect that having ordered two days before pick up, they would have been able to secure this product for us. Overall, it is unfortunate as we will have to go into a grocery store (not this one!) in order to get quality produce and the rest of the shopping they were unable to provide. This brings anxiety to my partner who particularly hoped to avoid us entering physical stores after being listed a close contact and had to isolated for 14 days (and put out of work) due to exposure from staff at another Woolworths store.

Extremely rude lady picked up the phone this morning, I was being polite and the best she could do was act as if she hated her life. If that's the case then why work in a customer facing industry?

Small store perfect for the daily essentials, the staff who refill the shelves dont seem to have a working system as im constantly asking for items that are empty on the shelf for a week but when i finally ask 9 times out of 10 there is stock sitting out the back. Staff are hit and miss some very good but others just rude and disinterested in helping.The worst thing about this store is the air conditioning it is ABSOLUTELY FREEZING, TAKE AN EXTRA JACKET. Ive complained many times and was told they can not adjust the temp due to a fault its even on in winter. Very comfortable i cant look around just grab what i need quickly an get out of there.

This shop often sells out-of-date products, remember print receipt.

Increasingly poor, unfriendly and unhelpful service. Unprofessional behaviour from staff who shout directions at each other up and down the aisles as you walk by. Often have to find someone to serve you at the checkout. Very irritated this morning by sullen cashier who looked through me as though I wasn’t there. Whatever happened to service with a smile? Better places to shop nearby.

I was disappointed today after purchasing bags of potting mix and pine bark. Normally the pricing for both is good and listed above the product. Today only the soil was listed ($4/25L). Other times the pine bark was less than the potting not grossly more ($7/25L). Now I know why the price was not listed. Very deceptive selling Woolworths. Go to Bunnings instead. It's better value.

Absolutely a third world experience, I pity the staff who probably do their best with this dirty unpleasant store which has a very expensive but bewilderingly limited array of groceries. I recommend that the directors and senior management of Woolies tour this site so they can understand first hand the horrible customer experience and by all means park in the filthy limited car park.And don't get me started on the BWS -customers waiting for the IT to work were exchanging horror stories -sadly all true. Time for this tired old relic to be bulldozed . Great site for affordable housing.
