Genuine advice and really helpful service. I was on a budget after buying an older European car that needed some work - brakes, service etc. Scott was honest with my options and tried to help to keep my costs down without compromising vehicle safety. Work was done same day. I went back again for wheel balance and my car drove a lot better after all the work was done. Scott explained everything clearly and helped me to prioritise the work needed. Very happy to recommend.

I used this company for a few years and was satisfied with my experience - I initially went to them based on their strong google reviews. I found their customer service wasn’t anything to write home about, but they were easy to book in with and close to home and work.In July last year (2021), I started to experience shuddering in my brakes, they replaced the shocks and after a while the shuddering continued, at which point the brakes were replaced in April this year (2022) - at this point nearly $3000 in cost (noting this included the standard service fees and standard works).After the replacement, the shuddering stopped, but I started to hear strange noises in my brakes (not the normal wearing in noise you get with new brakes). I took it back in August and they reviewed it at no cost, and advised they couldn’t see what was causing the problem. I was frustrated as I had to convince the mechanic to listen to audio recordings I had of the noise and I felt I was being rushed out the door. I felt like they were disinterested and didn’t take my concerns seriously - putting it down to the normal ‘wearing in’ noises, and told me to let them know if they continued. The noises continued, but I didn’t really trust that taking the car back to the same mechanic would be worth the time and effort.Frustrated, I took my car to a different servicer in Braddon (MyCar) in September. I showed them the audio recording, which they seemed genuinely interested to hear, and they then automatically identified the noise as being caused by a metal component. It turned out that the anti vibration plate was stuck between the rotor and calliper, something I would have expected ACT Tyre Brake and Auto to have picked up on when they did an assessment of the brakes. The new mechanic rectified the works at no cost.I’m disappointed, frustrated, and will not be going back to this mechanic for future works.

These guys did a great job on my holden barina, repaired the steering arms and did a wheel alignment for a good price and were very patient and thorough. Would definitely recommend.

Just called to book in but fully booked for the day. However, super friendly service so would give it a try if in the area again.

Excellent service!We found a bolt in our tyre which was causing a slow leak. We called up & were told we could bring it in right away, 2 hours later it was all fixed & for such a reasonable price!Will definitely be bringing my car back here!
