Byron Bay Swimming Pool

A 50 metre pool ...by the sea!!! Perfect!

Not only is this a great swimming pool for families, but it has some nice features such as a restaurant café attached next to it. On our second visit we asked about swimming certifications. The pool owner went out of his way to print a certificate for our son and provide a couple of complimentary hot chocolates. Just an incredibly kind gesture and I think reflective of the community spirit this location gives off. The pool itself has a nice temperature and I was impressed how respectful swimmers were between swim and family lanes. Entry is not expensive and you can buy goggles there.

Nice 50m pool, clean facilities. I did lane swimming at 10am on a Saturday and the lanes weren't too busy. There was an Aqua aerobics class going on and a children's party being set up but there was plenty of room for everyone.Parking was available at that time too.

Could this be the best pool in NSW? You can get your fish and chips and coffee delivered poolside. So I think so! Also, two kids' pools and a beautiful 50m lap pool. Amazing!

Perfect location at the main beach

The pool is usually a wonderful experience with the 3-4 disabled children I bring along. Unfortunately this afternoon we had a very horrible experience with an older Lifeguard (name starting with N). He purposely stole an 8 year olds belongings and hid them in his van.. After approaching him politely and asking for them back, he refused after admitting he had done so. He instructed us to come back tomorrow before running into the staff back room, forcing me to follow him begging for a child’s belongings back. I spoke to the restaurant manager after being disgusted of his thievery of a child.The manager found these belongings in his personal van.. this is incredibly scary and the children feel traumatised by his actions. I hope he is no longer working there when we return.

Great community at the pool, Only downfall is the shallow end as it's not ideal for tumble turns.

Nice quiet pool, parking can sometimes be difficult due to location beside the very popular beach.

Local swimming pool excellent facilities for all the family with an added bonus of fish n’ chip in-house …can’t recommend anymore…wish our own local was this good!
