Ferntree Gully Quarry Recreation Reserve Playground
Splendid spot to bring your family or hanging out with friends for picnic or bbq.Plenty of car park or you can park on the street nearby. Great facility with toilet, bbq, playground for kids and huge area for picnic. Can easily spend a day chilling here.I saw so many people with their dogs, kayak and small canoe there. Good spot for fishing too.The lake is really nice, can be either green or blue colour on photo depending on the sun and season. Super beautiful either way.Highly recommended!

This has got to be one of the most unique parks in Melbourne! Pleasantly surprised - heaps of seats, BBQ and playground at the top of the quarry. But there’s a beautiful walk to the lakeside, and plenty of spots to sit and relax along the way.

Nice area. Great for dogs who can have a swim. Has boardwalk and fishing platforms. Long path to get down the hill. You wouldn't want to push a wheelchair back up. Likewise, not good for those with limited mobility.

Great little park tucked away at the top of the hill. There is a small park and BBQ area at the top. But a great little lake at the bottom for fishing. Haven't caught anything yet and will till they restock before the school holidays

Great place for a day out, or a swim on a warm night. There are fish in the quarry so you are able to bring a rod down and go fishing. There is a park for the kids to play on, a BBQ area and toilets.
