Great place to stay. Dave the caretaker is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of room. Facilities are dated but serviceable. Good value and would stay here again.

Clean amenities, nice large Grassy sites. You ring the caretaker as you enter, he will do his best to come and meet you and assign the site best suited to you. Easy walk to town.All up, a great place to stay.$20 a night for power and water.

Do a little market here on 4th Sat of the month. Get the Swiss cheese tarts -$4ea or 5 for $18 and you will devour them!Also provides $20 overnight parking for caravans, RVs etc. Clean public toilets onsite and well looked after grounds. Town is worth a visit too with plenty of shops, cafes, nice enclosed playground and a couple of nearby wineries.

The Moto Fest was an excellent experience.10 of us from distant places got together in a renovated farm house and enjoyed the hospitality of Wauchope. The bike show was was well run and catered to. Excellent weather for the ride made it an awesome three days

Stayed here twice on our way through for 1 night each, 10 dollars a night for our roof tent 4x4 is great, showers are fine, on our second stay unfortunately some local kids snuck in and stole our beers and for some reason a banana from our cooler ( and left it open) threw and empty tinnie over the fence to some other campers after shouting loads earlier that night so would encourage you choose a spot away from the fence ( there is a pedestrian gate)Caretaker was friendly and there's loads of drinking water on site.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, butThe facilities let the Showgrounds down badly.The showers need to be demolished and a new shower/toilet building constructed to meet 2023 standard.It needs 2 large shower cubicles with doors for privacy and 2 toilets and hand basins for both men and women and a disable shower/toilet room.Then it will be a great place to stay 1 night or 28 nights.Please read and assist. 11.11.22Tommy Traveller.

Awesome camping spot. I rolled in about 2 pm and the caretaker, Dave, couldn't have been more helpful. I paid $10 for a spot to throw my swag. He's basically a volunteer and very helpful.Amenities are great and it's only a 5 min stroll to get a few coldies at the pub or club.
