Have used the UC Medical and Counselling service twice and have been disappointed and dissatisfied both times. Dr Christopher Tong has attended to me both times and sadly I will hope to never be seen by him again. Both times the doctor had to GOOGLE what was the issue with me which anybody with a phone and an internet plan can do today. Even his googling was subpar as I had to show him what was the closest diagnosis of my issues. He told me to be give it time and wait and see if the issues persist. So for not diagnosing any of my issues and for using GOOGLE as a replacement for his medical degree I was charged for his services. What a rip off. I even told the receptionist who basically said 'it is what it is'. Really poor level of service. I cannot speak for the other doctors at this centre as I have not interacted with them.

Medical: Incredibly long wait time over and over again. Most recently had to wait more than 2 hours without being seen. Definitely not recommended if you need to see a GP for any urgent mattersCounseling: Very punctual! Very helpful! They know what they're doing!!! Only quite a long waiting list but understandable

Five stars for the GPs, I have been seeing GPs in this medical Centre in the last four years, especially Dr. Newbery & Dr. Flanagan ! I know the waiting time could be more than 1 hour, but my friends whom seeing these two doctors they would say it’s worth for waiting!

Waited days for an appointment, then more in the waiting room, just to be denied medication due to personal beliefs. Usually good, happy with my regular GP and other services.

I have been going here for 10 years, and I question why every time I come!! I dont think i ever get to see the doctor within 30 minutes of my appointment time. Always waiting for 45minutes, even if you call ahead to ask if they are running late. You show up later and still wait 30+ minutes. They definitly need to do something about spacing out their appointments.

While most of the staff (nurses, counsellers and receptionists) are very sweet. The 2 GPs I saw were very unhelpful and judgmental when I came in for mental health issues. Also, the psychiatrist, Dr Virginia McAndrew has made me do multiple costly tests before setting an appointment, which she ended up never doing for 5 months now. I am very disapointed with the way she deals with students that struggle with mental health.

I have been seeing Dr Jenny Weekes for years now. She is absolutely phenomenal, the best doctor I have ever been to. She is incredibly thorough, listens and is never dismissive. She will never cut your appointment short, she takes the time needed to make sure you have all your questions answered and feel satisfied with the outcome of the appointment. If other appointments are slightly pushed back or there is a bit of a wait, this may be why - but it is well worth it and just means she will do the same for you. The reception team are also amazing at fitting me in at the last minute, even when Jenny does not have any available appointments. They do very well in what is a hard job and can be full of criticism from the public. -- I felt compelled to leave this after seeing some of the reviews, which I believe do not provide an accurate reflection of the practice. People are very quick to provide negative feedback (and do not often provide the full picture), but often do not make the effort to share when things go well.

Very good practice have been attending for years. Doctors and nurses are helpful and friendly. Sometimes there’s a wait but it’s worth it. The doctors don’t rush you so you know when you have your appointment you will get treated very well.
