I visited the Queens Tavern on a weekday lunchtime with my husbandIt was very quiet, with only a handful of customers.The outside area at the front was being dug up, so entry was around the back.The young lady serving behind the bar was very friendly and helpful.We ordered food: a chicken salad and the Queens parmi, both meals were served quickly, and both were a good portion size.Great customer service.

We go to the queens regularly. This visit was for my daughters 21st birthday. There were 4 of us. We ordered 4x cocktails. When they were delivered to the table the entire contents spilt off the tray and smashed allall over the table with alcohol landing all over us and especially over my daughter’s clothes. I had alcohol over my skirt, my mother over her jumper. It was everywhere. I had to ask for paper towels and water to dab our clothes so they didn’t stain. We had already ordered food and was waiting for this to be delivered. We had to move tables. They replaced our drinks which I had already paid for but what was extremely disappointing was that there was no offer of compensation. No offer of a free coffee for all, or free desserts, or an offer of the next round of drinks on the house, or an offer to pay for the dry cleaning, nothing at all. Pretty disappointing for such a well known establishment.

After a pretty emotional day, a nice way to chill out and spend time with lovely people, service was lovely and nice to try a new place! Love that there is still a proper fireplace in use!

Such a fabulous venue! Nothing was a hassle, even when we kept changing the booking numbers. Dinner for 37 guests was delicious and served so effortlessly. Highly recommended!

Generally consistent for a good night. Food has definitely improved! Service is generally quick and friendly, though can be hard to flag someone down to begin with.It's a little less crowded now with the new venues opened in the area so it's a more attractive option to have a catch up there.

On a sunny winter’s Sunday we decided to go to the Queen hotel for a lovely nice.Beautiful old building inside and out. We found a cosy seat outside and ordered our door and drinks from the me&u app.Wine was amazing pizza and other food arrived except for one meal. Waited for 15 min and still nothing. Walked up to the bar where you can order food to check on the order. Had to stand around another 5 min, no one could tell me where the missing chicken salad was. Decided to go back to the table when the waitress turned up 5 min later to apologise and asked if we wanted to order another drink. The meal eventually turned up when everyone else already finished their meals and drinks. It’s not a pleasant experience to eat while everyone is watching and waiting for you to finish. I subsequently did not finish my meal. What a disappointment. One person’s mistake ruined an entire family’s Sunday.

I went there on 28th June, with 5 other friends for lunch. Although the food was great but the service was deplorable. This young white waitress was too abrupt & disrespectful. She doesn't have any basic serving skills, no etiquette. Doesn't even know which knive is meant for steak. Didn't offer any mustard for my rib-eye steak. Doesn't use basic words like, please, excuse me, thank you. It was like a dumb person serving us.No acknowledgement & interaction with customersShe shouldn't working in this wonderful atmosphere place of yours.

Glad we came here for Valentine’s Day. Atmosphere and service was perfect and so was the fresh food. I do love a perfectly cooked barramundi!

Queens Tavern
This is a cool venue with open fires which makes it cosy on a cold night. The menu has changed since I was last there and I was pleasantly surprised. I'd say it's an Italian inspired menu but the food was just really tasty. I'll be going again soon.
