Took my 2005 commodore in to get a starter motor,the price qouted seemed fare,so I also had a service done a small service,I found that price very pricey.I also asked them to check the radiater/overheating guage,as I had found it was starting to get hot.I drove up from Sydney 6 mths ago after my guy down there serviced it,for $140,it never missed a beat,actually drove all the way with 2 stops,this car is in A1 condition.I was told by Rod it was just the radiater cap,so I was cool,just get a new one,cost me $130 to fit the radiater cap,the other guy tried to say,it was 100 dollars labor,he said,well we had to drive it around for a while

My partner and I took our car here to get a blue slip. We were told that our bushes needed replacing before we could get the slip. After having three other mechanics with thirty years of experience look at it they all said that the bushes were perfectly fine and did not need replacing. I would not recommend taking your car here if you can avoid it!

I have taken my Honda CRV to Automotive Central since new and Chris and his team always provide 5 star service. The car is always ready on time and the service is more efficient and cheaper than the dealers.

Worst service. Defanlity do NOT recommend to anyone ever. Had to wait extra days for a road worthy beacuse the Manager/Owner wasn't in town so staff didn't care about customers or wait times to paying customers. Was called in for appointment by the shop at 1pm then waited till 4.30pm them to be told that wouldn't be done that day and take car home and come back the next day when they organized the time for the roadworthy. One week after went to another mechanic to be told that car shouldn't of passed the road worthy and was unsafe. Save you money and time and go somewhere else.

I am a new customer to Central automotive, I had my suspension replaced in the mighty Lux found Chris and team to be very friendly, professional & efficient & the price was great! Their workshop is organised and well equipped! Expectations exceeded!!! Ill be back and will definitely refer my friends and colleagues :)

Friendly engaging staff with a high degree of professionalism and dedication. They were quick to diagnose and repair an electronics issue in my vehicle at a very reasonable price. Had me back on the road in no time. Highly recommended.

Great service at an even better price. My wife had her car serviced here and we found the pricing very competitive. We also got 4 new tyres through them. Chris and his team were professional and available for all my wife's questions and queries in relation to noises" that she was hearing and were very thorough in resolving these issues. Automotive Central was incredibly helpful in resolving several issues with our Mini. The team were resourceful and efficient in sourcing parts and fixing the problem. They kept us abreast of the process and all costs involved. Highly recommended!

Worst place that we have taken our car too ever. Nothing but cons for money. We brought a car in Brisbane from a family member. We got a big car service in Brisbane, as well as a pink slip in Brisbane. Car passed everything there. However, we wanted to register it in NSW as we live in NSW. We got a driving pass to drive it to this car place in order to register and get a NSW pink slip. So we arrived here with our 4 month old baby, and handed the keys in. We came back 1 hour later, with a list of things that 'needed' to be repaired.. we live 8 hours away and they knew that we had no option other then to get it 'repaired' otherwise they would not give us our pink slip to get the car registered. They stated that the car had a hand brake issue, no brake light and that our car tint was too dark so they have to remove it. Not to mention, our car had both brake lights replaced on the previous service one week earlier, as well as full brakes were serviced, and that car tint was placed on the car over 4 years ago at a registered tinting dealer.. it was not to dark at all. We had only one hour left to get our car registered so we had no option apart from paying them to 'Fix' these issues which did not exist. The car sat in the garage for one hour with no one attending it. As well as customer service was very very poor, we were told to leave with our baby and go to the shops in the hot. It would be a 20 minute walk in the sun. Our genuine normal mechanic who is also a family member, stated to us to be very careful as some mechanics make up problems. At the end, we got a unitemized bill, after another 1.5 hour later. Bill was was way too high priced for doing nothing. Do not recommend this place ever to anyone.

Amazing service. Chris was very helpful in explaining me everything that my car needed and why it was necessary. He didn't try to oversell anything changing just the necessary for my car to be in good condition given that it is now 14 years old. Definitively recommend it!
