Kootingal Kourt Caravan Park

Its an older park but the current owners are working hard to update it. It was clean and tidy, amenities, whilst old, are in good condition.Caravan sites were nicely grassed and recently mown.Some nice views across the farmland to the hills.Owners were very helpful.We felt very comfortable there and would recommend it.

We stopped in on the way home from Dunedoo and stayed one night.This is a pleasant Park with lovely rural outlook. The facilities are good and staff welcoming and informative.Elle went to see her ancestors homes and did some looking around, it's a nice walk to old Moonby homestead which was the Gill Family home. Lots of history in this little area.Clean older style toilets and showers, water and power where you need it.

Great place to stay. Super friendly and very helpful. Clean ammenities and well kept grounds.

Nice quiet park to stay at reasonable rates. Caretakers very approachable and helpful. Vans and amenities were very clean. No problems with staying there again.

Recently I spent a week camping in my tent at Kootingal Kourt Caravan Park during the Tamworth Country Music Festival. During the booking process I had occasion to speak to Louise who was extremely pleasant and helpful over the phone.I had booked quite a long way in advance and, due to a change in circumstance, wanted the extend my booking along the way. Again Louise took the changes on board and accommodated me cheerfully. She could not have been more helpful.Kootingal was a good choice because It is only a short drive to Tamworth but because it is outside the festival area it was quiet and peaceful, set in a rolling rural landscape. The township has a pub and bowling club plus and IGA so it is not necessary to drive into Tamworth for a meal or supplies.The caravan park is well set out and I found I had a nice shady spot for my tent. I was very grateful because it was quite hot in late January. The park was fairly full for most of the time I was there and the people I encountered were all very happy and satisfied with the amenities which are not new but are kept very clean and tidy. I did not use the laundry facilities but saw that others did. Likewise the camp kitchen. The showers delivered lovely hot water quickly and a shower was always available when I needed one.Louise and Gerry were around the caravan park regularly every day and always had a cheerful greeting and a quick conversation for their residents. They were very helpful and kind to me when I inadvertently ran into a tap, offering me advice and assistance even though I had caused some trouble to them. Nothing ever seemed a problem for them at all and everyone I spoke to was impressed with their friendliness and competence.I would recommend Kootingal Kourt Caravan Park to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay. I do not think you will do better.

Had an absolute blast with the young kids staying at the park over the few days we went up for the Tamworth country music festival. The park is quiet, incredibly clean, the management are so nice, friendly and really helpful and the permanent residents always have a smile on their face. Short drive from the park to tamworth, we are definitely rebooking for next year.

I love the setting the owners were welcoming & helpful we had a camping trailer so the park was more than adequate, plus there was no disturbances

We pulled in for the night....so,so welcoming and easy-going. No problem for us to stay hooked up 15 metres plus. Love the laid back approach. Nice grassed site, next to a Jacaranda tree. Pool was a nice surprise. Support the small parks when you can so we don't lose them.
