Refusal to help even though its their duty. they have put a girls life in serious danger as well as an animal due to their inaction

I have always had a great deal of respect for our local police (Raymond Terrace) and up until now would have rated them 5 stars. Unfortunately this is no longer the case as the two officers who came to my home tonight couldn't have been more rude, disinterested or patronising if they had tried. I am extremely disappointed in these two particular officers and am not even sure why they bothered coming at all as they clearly weren't even remotely interested in anything I had to say.I won't name and shame as they don't deserve that however they left me feeling like the issue I wanted to discuss was a complete waste of their time and effort.Very disappointing, Raymond Terrace Police. Perhaps you need to teach some (not all) of your officers to come down from the power trip they're on and actually take the time to listen.

The officers that helped locate me when I was reported as a missing person, after becoming lost in the woods after my car broke down in the middle of the night & in the middle of nowhere, were incredibly polite, kind, compassionate & understanding. I was disoriented after spending hours wandering lost through the woods when they located me & treated me with care & respect. Interactions like this with the police are reassuring to me that there are kind & decent human beings serving in the NSW Police Force.
