A very cute pier. Great small walk. There's a small parking lot beside the pier for free 2P. Lots of cute cafes and shops along the beach as well. Crystal clear sea. Small beach where people bring their kids and dogs along. Not suitable for fishing as the water is very shallow.

tranquil spot on the Mornington peninsula.The Dromana Pier is one of the key tourist points ion Dromana; offering a chance to see both the sea and the shore from the end of the structure.It extends out from the beachside road and is a good spot for a bit of fishing or just gazing into the sea!Part of the pier is currently closed while the local authority determines whether it is safe - but the parts that remain open are perfectly fine.

Nice and clean place. We went there, specifically for fishing. The pier was closed for maintenance, to our surprise. Water is also shallow, so unless you are fishing with some sort of concentrated burley, it's a useless spot for fishing.

I was there late on a Wednesday night & other than one car that drove through the carpark, I seemed to be the only one there.They need to have lighting & signage that shows you how to access the sand/water.As someone who hasn't been there during daylight hours, I was left to wander around looking for anything other than a leap over the wall.After walking along the sand, I couldn't find any amenities to wash my feet of sand, something most sensible people do at the beach before getting in their car.

Peaceful and pretty.We loved spending our afternoon here after grabbing lunch nearby. The beach is clean and quiet. You can stroll along the beach on the beautiful white sand or on the walking trail along the road. There are plenty of picnic spots that overlook the ocean along the track. We also recommend taking a walk down the pier, you'll feel like you're walking above the ocean. The evenings sunset is lovely to watch here and it's calming after a long day.

We had a wonderful sunny day for the drive along the coastline oof Mornington - couldn't get over the vastness of Port Phillip Bay and what a huge jetty there is here at Dromona
