Dahlas has run an amazing 10-week program of Mum and Bubs Pilates at Modern Mamas. There's not a lot of instructor-led exercises I've enjoyed in the past, but Dahlas has made this weekly time a really special part of my post-partum journey. With the emphasis on gently stretching and strengthening my post-partum body, breathing deeply, and knowing which parts of my body which are under stress from being a new mum (think of all the hunching, twisting, lifting...), I always feel much better for having come along to a class :)I would highly recommend this class for new mums. Thanks Dahlas!

Being 40 and on my fourth pregnancy I have learnt a thing or two. My first two children were in my early twenties, my body and general wellbeing bounced back quite effortlessly however this wasn't the case with my third pregnancy, which was in my late 30's. I worked long hours on my feet, choose the wrong exercise and movement choices and carried on with life like i was pregnant and 22 again. After this pregnancy I had a magnitude of postpartum issues, severe diastasis recti, plantar fasciitis, haemorrhoids, poor pelvic floor function, hip and back instability and issues with my first rib from poor posture. I am not stranger to exercise either and i have participated in everything ranging from Touch football to F45, the internet is flooded with conflicting information about pregnancy exercise and whats suitable so that was when i decided I needed to find a specialist in this area, not just to support my body but also my baby. That's why I enrolled in BodyFab pregnancy workshop. Dahlas is absolutely fabulous, and full of knowledge. The workshop covers everything! Safe exercise to support your forever changing pregnant body, movement, stability, health, nutrition, birth-ball use during labour and don't be fooled with the idea your heart rate will be stagnant during these short exercise routines, I was puffed! On top of all this you received goodies bags, just the icing on the cake. This is truely the best investment i have ever made during a pregnancy, you wont be disappointed!

I did Mum n Bub pilates with Dahlas through Modern Mamas and highly recommend it. The classes are the perfect return to exercise after having a baby and Dhalas shares her wealth of knowledge about post natal fitness and how to best look after your body and restore your core after bub.

Couldn’t recommend Dahlas and the mums and bubs class more! I learnt so much! It was great way to safely get back into exercise after birth, in an environment made for mums. It was so informative and helpful as well as fun!

I attended Dahlas’ post partum 8 week pilates program where I got to bring bub along and looked forward each week to the class. Each was was a great workout/stretch focusing on taking things slow post birth. Highly recommend for her friendliness and knowledge!!

I am so glad I attended Dahlas Pregnancy Workshop (at 33wks). The whole process was well communicated from registration to post Workshop. The session was informative, fun and good vibes ✌. Dahlas was always checking in on us, she knew each person's limitations and helped them/me to safely perform the training. I care about safety and quality training and these 2 aspects exceed my expectations. I totally recommend this workshop for mamas to be at any stage of pregnancy. I am looking forward to the Mamas & Bubs group sessions!

I've just done a term of Mums and Bubs Pilates with Dahlas through Modern Mamas. I am so grateful for Dahlas to help me move my body again. Before pregnancy, exercise was one of my favourite hobbies and post birth, I found it difficult to move securely and with a baby in tow. She provides so much support, explains each exercise and what it does for you, and also gives you alternatives if you're injured or have baby in your arms. I can't recommend her enough.Thanks for a great term Dahlas.

I attended a pregnancy workshop with Dahlas at 27 weeks, and loved the fun and achievable workouts with plenty of tips about how to do it safely! Her approach and the videos have given me the confidence to try everything at home, and I've had back and hip pain since using the fitball!! Highly recommend her workshops!!

Loved Dahlas’s pregnancy workshop - super informative, learn a lot while getting active and exercising! Loved doing the exercises on the birthing ball and knowing we can continue this at home with her online classes. Thanks Dahlas! I had a great experience at Dahlas's workshop recently. I was 30 weeks pregnant. The workshop highlights which movements are appropriate during/after pregnancy particularly using a Swiss medical ball. Dahlas promotes protection of the pelvic region and encourages activation of inner abdominal muscles and glutes. Also - it was really fun and I was surprised how vigorous the workouts were ! I now feel comfortable and confident to continue the techniques learnt at home. I think it will be really beneficial for me and my baby during birth.
