If you are down visiting Lennox Head, you must stop and take a swim to experience this fresh water environment. The Tea trees around the lake drop their leaves falling into the water turning it to brown.

Beautiful lake but please be aware that you can’t swim in it at the moment! We came for a swim but there are warning signs up for algae. Still lovely to walk around but the next testing won’t be done until October so it’s unlikely you’ll be able to swim in it until then!

This orange colour Tea Tree lake has amazing healing properties. If you have a healing wound or post op (need to wait till doc days it's ok) it is amazing, I have seen deep nasty grazes heal within 2 weeks after about 4 or 5 swims. I love to swim here and my hair and skin are softer than any moisturizers or conditioners.

Like swimming in cola.Feels great. The floor is almost entirely sand also so can easily swim and not fear hurting yourself. Water’s warm. Makes your skin and hair feel good too!

AMAZING! Loved the dark water! You can feel that the oil makes your skin and hair soft after a swim! Highly recommended!

Interesting lake feature, close to the beach. The waters are oily with supposedly medicinal properties on the banks of a tea-tree forest. Recline on the banks or in the shade. Very relaxing

Beautiful spot for kayaking and swimming. Crustal clear, clean water, stained by the trees trees, but so, so pristine. Stones throw from the beach. Very peaceful
