Lakes Caravilla Caravan Park

Beautiful little caravan park about 5 minutes outside Lakes Entrance. Some of the sites are a little small, just able to fit a family sized tent and a car. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a good sized games room with TV and pool table. The views over the the neighbouring paddocks are beautiful, especially on a crisp, sunny morning. There is one main toilet block which can be a bit congested during peak times, supplemented by porta-loos. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Danny and Susan, new owners of the Caravilla park, were fantastic. Friendly, helpful and nothing was a problem.. The park was clean, pool was crystal clear, Toilets and showers were always kept clean. While we stayed it rained and our tent got drowned and the mattress deflated. Susan went out of her way to get us a cabin.. Best night sleep.. Cabin was clean and comfy.... I would highly recommend this caravan park. We will defiantly be staying here again... Thanks Danny and Susan for making our stay a pleasant one.. from the crew of Tasty Taters :-)

Great place to stay with a pool and very close to lakes entrance. Although the amenities can be crowded during peak hours and there are mosquitoes around which can be annoying (no idea where they come from). We had a great time nevertheless.

Could be a great caravan and camping park if a million dollars was spent on it, needs another amenities block built near the non powered sites are because there forgotten about, portaloo is not a shower block, long walk for the elderly in the dark with exposed drains with grates have been removed, there needs to be quite a few large pine trees removed as well some dead that can fall even kill, good friendly owners but these days people want to feel safe and comfortable

Sue was very helpful and charming. All for a mere $15 one person, unpowered site.Includes shower and toilet facilities.Would strongly recommend, lush grassy sites, beautiful views within the park. All followed up with an outstanding Autumn sunset.

Went here for a couple days. First of all it all started at the point where I was paying for my room. They overcharged me with an extra digit. Yep! Instead of 200$ it was 2,000$ for 3 nights. Rip Off! They refused to refund because of “fees”. I brang my kids hoping to swim in the pool but it was all shut off. They mentioned a games room but clearly doesn’t exist. Don’t bother with this place. Go up the road and get a place in the motel not here. Garbage service.

We absolutely loved this place! We stayed there on our drive up to QLD. It's so hard to find good, cheap accomodation. We stayed in numerous motels and caravan parks but this place is my #1 favourite. Even our dog was welcome - not many places are pet friendly. Situated just as you come into Lakes Entrance it was good location & close to everything. Great facilities with a pool, BBQ & playground. We had an awesome little cabin which slept 5 for only $65 is so affordable! It had a queen bed, 3 bunked beds, kitchen table/chairs, fridge, microwave, TV, DVD, sep bathroom & had heater/aircon this unit catered for everything my family needed and more. The staff were friendly and were so nice when I asked for late check out the next morning. If we weren't on a schedule I would have postponed the drive north and stayed for a week - maybe more! I'll definitely stay there again and can only hope there are more little places that pop up like Lakes Caravilla caravan park. Thank you to the owners Susan & Danny - it was such a pleasure! We will be back next time we are in VIC :)

Great little van park 5 mins put of Lakes Entrance township. Very clean amenities and managers were friendly and helpful. Bit noisy if you're camped up near the highway, but just take ear plugs.

Sold my site out from under me, an asset worth 25k got reduced to 1k in value if that. Don't ever get an onsite van at this place the rules are mental. Not to mention they can decide at any time they want to devalue your asset to nothing with no reimbursement whatsoever. Was a class action against them but the way they worded the contract they can throw anybody out at the change of the wind and if your setup is permanent - stiff cheddar you lose.I advise you invest literally anywhere else if you are wanting a permanent setup due to their contract deliberately designed for them to screw over any and everybody.

Very nice place! Not too big, not too fancy, but cheap.Great area for tents and others who doesn't need power = real campers ;)Kitchen facilities are basic, but got what you need. Small and nice pool, game room and the toilet and bathrooms were spotless!
