Kaytie has done my make up for a few special occasions and each time I have been so pleased with my look!!! She uses quality products, listens to what I want in a look and is so professional and friendly! When she’s doing my make up we always have a good chat and a laugh! Kaytie is a makeup artist with impeccable skill and a very sweet personality to match. I received many compliments from family and strangers after Kaytie did my makeup for a job interview. I was really nervous about going to a makeup artist but Kaytie made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked through her studio door. She really listened and understood what I wanted, and during the session, would always ask my opinion on certain colours and products. I felt very humbled that Kaytie valued my individual style and was in complete awe by her ability to recreate that look. After she finished, I felt both confident AND pretty, two things I must say do not come too often, let alone together. The experience made me so happy that I decided to commit to regular makeup lessons with Kaytie because I wanted to learn some simple makeup looks for small social occasions. We’ve only had a few sessions so far, but they’re always the highlight of my week and I’ve learned so much in that short time! Kaytie constructs the lessons around what I want to learn. She is extremely patient and encouraging, making it easy for me to feel supported by her gentle guidance and friendship. So if you’re looking for someone to do your makeup or want to learn anything makeup-related, there is no one I could possibly recommend more than the dear Kaytie Kara. Her talent and charm is a rare combination that will leave you gobsmacked while looking breathtakingly beautiful.

During the 90min make up session (for a friends wedding) not once did I ever feel uncomfortable or unsatisfied with my look. Throughout the whole session Kaytie was very informative with each step and assisted me in finding the perfect look to match my dress. Communication leading up to the appointment was also very efficient and pricing is quite reasonable. I am so happy to have found a wonderful make up artist with years of experience, and I cannot recommend her enough! Definitely going to book with her again in the future!
