I recently commissioned Suzy Loader of B.creative to conceive, design and project-manage a photo-book/catalogue for an important survey of my paintings and drawings staged at Rockhampton Museum of Art, Queensland, from April through June, 2023. Having been impressed by earlier examples if her design aesthetic I felt from the beginning that she would produce just the kind of professional, classy and clean publication I required. The results of her application to the brief, of her eye for detail and style and of her keen sense of how to showcase my work, and the contemporary institution in which it would be housed, are clear to see. The book has been extremely well received in artistic circles and the wider community. As an added. - and significant - bonus, Suzy was able to consult with Museum staff in a knowledgeable and confidence-inspiring manner that made the whole process (especially during my absence overseas at a critical point) so much easier than it might have been, left in the hands of a less mature and less diplomatic designer.When the time comes for me to consider another publication I will instantly turn to B.creative.Bruce James
