Hillcrest Charcoal chicken
Very hit and miss. The chips and Gravy two out of three times were excellent. Sadly, on the third time they were just woeful and the service wait time was atrocious. There were a lot ( a lot) of people just waiting endlessly for their orders, I felt sorry for them waiting so long. It seems the food is generally OK but the wait time woeful. Great to see a business bring charcoal style chicken to Burnie, only problem is, Devonport Charcoal chicken run rings around Burnie. Not bad but no good..just stuck in the middle.

Really impressed. Good value packs. Vege pack excellent quality and value. Chicken well cooked. Staff hygienic and helpful. Potato bake good. Everything hot. Liked being able to see my order on screen. Will return. Not at all expensive.

Ordered a chicken schnitzel burger combo with a devil wing and 1pc fried chicken. Restaurant seemed clean and staff friendly but unfortunately the food was very unpleasant. There was no seasoning on the chips and the burger was bland and chicken (including burger) was very dry. Will give another go but have a long way to go to get to same level as Devonport Charcoal Chicken which is worth the drive from Burnie alone

Please people Be Very Cautious with this establishment.I know they are a New Business but the Poor Hygiene from most of the workers, the raw undercooked chicken, potato bake, pasta salad and cold gravy is a Massive worry and concern.The waiting times were ridiculous waiting over 30 minutes for a meal that was horrible.You could make excuses for this place but nothing ran smooth, people were waiting for ages and then to walk away with under cooked food to only have to return with it is very sad.My chicken was pink and transparent and after biting into a cold drumstick that was hard to bite off I spat what I had in my mouth out and gagged.I am also going to call health inspectors and department of fair trading as people shouldn't have to be paying through the nose for such poor quality food.I will never return to this place and I hope they improve or close their doors.

Went there for lunch after being told off for parking out front .guess we would give them a second chance was told quarter chicken and salad and a can of drink help your self doesn't say what size salad you can have tried to charge more for large salad and then the chicken was pile of slop grey in colour and wasn't cooked properly. When I took it back was told sorry but no replacement will never eat there again. Suggest if you want real charcoal chicken go to devenport
