Ben came out as I had some faults occurring (Getting electrocuted from my taps). He performed an investigation that had a fixed price. He found that my earthing wasn't suitable and I didn't have RCD protection or an earth stake and my pipes weren't earthed correctly. He carried out the necessary work. Everything has been working great since and I feel safe knowing I have the latest gear protecting my home. Ben is polite and just an all round nice guy. It was our first time using him but certainly won't be the last.

I contacted Ben by mobile and spoke with him on the first attempt and immediately arranged to meet with him at our home. Ben is a brilliant electrician. The tricky thing about knowing if you've found a good tradesman is that not all problems are created equally. Sometimes, installing a new light fitting is dead simple. Other times, you take the old light down and it's concealing a massive hole in the plaster, and the whole edifice is held together with zip ties and cardboard in the roofspace. Some sparkies will just shrug and stuff it all back in there and hope for the best. Ben will take the time to fix it all up (and still stick to his original quote).If your job is dead simple - any electrician will get you the same results. But if the job turns out to be messy, or the last guy did a bad job, or you need a real expert - you want somebody like Ben. If you are a perfectionist, and you don't want ugly conduits running everywhere - you want somebody like Ben. If you have a baby crawling around the house, and want somebody who will catch every screw, sweep every speck of plaster and tuck away every cable neatly - you want somebody like Ben.We had a laundry list of about ten jobs around the house; he blitzed through them in great time, did a thorough, conscientious job, and left everything cleaner than it was when he arrived. He took the time to understand what we wanted, and why, and found ways to make it all work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him (and his outstanding work) to anybody.
