What a pleasant surprise! Don’t let the location fool you, this is top quality delicious and generous food made with care!Do yourself a favour, skip Maccas and KFC and get yourself some real food made by a family operationI had the Soul Burger, wife had the chicken wrap, kids had the classic burger, everything was top notch!

We were looking for burgers in Coffs Harbour and Old Mate’s came up. Dropped in near closing an they were happy to make us burgers. And they were epic burgers. The last Coffs Harbour burgers we had didn’t compare to these one! Thanks guys!

Delicious and amazing! Saved my morning after a long drive and poor service at another restaurant. The lady was so very very kind and brilliant! Will be stopping next time and everytime we are in Coffs!!!

Stumbled across Old Mates with my gals on the way to Byron Bay. Thoroughly enjoyed our food! The staff were so welcoming and accommodating, and gave really helpful recommendations! If we are ever in the area, we will 100% be back!!!!

Staying in Emerald Beach with my family and drove up to get a burger after reading the reviews on google and hunting a good burger. I am so glad we did because it was all delicious! I had the classic with pineapple and it was so good - really fresh ingredients with some tasty beef! Hubby got the classic with the works and said it was the best burger he has had in a while. Definitely drop in and try this place if you’re staying in the Coffs area. Service was super friendly as well :)
