Araluen Motor Lodge

Standard old motel, but it's clean and comfortable enough to stay. There's a small outdoor pool and WiFi. The staffs were friendly. The location was strategic, next to the lake. There's enough parking lots for your vehicle.

We had a family room and it was clean and the bathroom was new. Good location close to shops and clubs. If you want a couple of nights stay with 3 kids this place is great .

The room was clean, comfortable and recently renovated tastefully. The bed was incredible, so comfortable. The service was great and we would be happy to stay there again, hopefully soon. The position was great too!

We had the most loveliest stay at Araluen motel! The room was great! Very comfy bed, nice big TV, bathroom was great and the whole room was super clean! Close to everything! Across the road from a lovely park and the beach and 1 block from restaurants and supermarket! The pool was beautiful and the staff were so lovely and helpful! I wish I had stayed longer. Will definitely come back!

Went to have dinner at the restaurant attached that is run completely separate from this motel.The motel had a empty carpark with nobody there and we parked at the very back completely out of the way. Unfortunately we had a special needs child with us and did not feel safe walking him across the main road so figured parking in the empty carpark would not cause anyone any issues. This was incorrect the lady who runs this motel forced us in the middle of our meal to move our car out of the empty carpark. If it had of been in a busy period we would of totally understood and gone elsewhere however cannot understand how this would have caused her any issues tonight… I now understand why the carpark was empty her attitude was atrocious.Please do not let this review stop you from going to the restaurant attached as the owner of this restaurant has amazing service and was very helpful to our family and most importantly our son during the situation.

Our blinds in our room didn’t work, keeping us up at night with the lights from the street, cockroaches and dirty showers, loud neighbours yelling and screaming, tried to call reception multiple times on all the different numbers with no answer, eventually stopped yelling by 1:30 in the morning but we had an early morning so we woke up a bit grumpy after. Reception were lovely and we tried our best to be good customers, wouldn’t go back.

Upgraded. Loved it. Friendly reception. Upgraded due to renovations incomplete on the room we originally booked. Fabulous 4 bedroom apartment! So much space for our family. Everything we required and the laundry a bonus with children. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fantastic location, a really wonderful place. Would definitely recommend and very reasonable prices (prior to upgrade) with everything in walking distance - beach, large playground, supermarket, bakery, coffee, newsagents, restaurants and more. Thanks so much. We had a wonderful stay.

Our recent stay couldn’t have been any better. We stayed in one of the newly refurbished Superior rooms which was gorgeous. The colour scheme was one of the most beautiful I have ever encountered in a motel. The bed was very comfortable, great rain shower, m/w with a small kitchen sink and cutlery and crockery supplied. Our room also had a 65 inch TV, wow!We found the location ideal, close to a few restaurants and cafes and opposite a nice beach for a morning walk. The stay were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Oh my goodness, my partner and I have stayed in this beautiful Motel twice in the past 6 weeks, first time was for 2 nights and have just finished our second stay of 3 nights. This Motel is lovely, hence why we came back again and will continue to stay in the future. The staff are more than accommodating, friendly and efficient, nothing was a effort for them.The Motel room was modern, clean,the bed linen was of very high quality, towels were great and plenty of, a beautiful big spa, a very large t/v that was in the right place to watch from a very comfortable bed, a salt water pool that is solar heated and always clean .The location is amazing, a 2 minute walk to all of the places that you need to go to and not having to drive, cafes, restaurants, beach, picnic areas, pharmacy, newsagents, everything is in reach of a beautiful walk. I have stayed in many resorts, Motels,hotels overseas and in Australia over 50 years so my travels have been very extensive.I am shocked to see the reviews of this Motel, so negative, all I can say these negative people that have put your comments in black and white,is to get a life,start to appreciate what life is about and what is happening in our world, be nice to one another and get over small gripes that you may have experienced, nothing or anyone in this world is perfect, stop being ungrateful and put your energy in something worth while, start to be kind to each other not only to your families and friends but also to strangers, try it, its a great feeling and the world could be a better place ,sincerely, Cheryl. The nasty woman that rans this hotel Is the most horrible person ever.Booking 2 rooms with 3 adults n 3 children , n she told me rudely , 3 ppl 2 a room. Like i explained to her. 3 of my grandchildren were staying in my room. But nah she still said 3 2 a room. WowShe made it clear she only wants couples or old ppl like her.It’s a disgrace
