Vinnies

Good op shop. Kind staff. Got a weighted blanket for $5! They sometimes have bulk items of brand new clothes.

Brand new furniture was just delivered while I was there! Fantastic prices!

one of the larger vinnies in victoria, lots of clothes but a bit overpriced. On some days staff are excellent, on others, they can barely muster up a “hello” and “goodbye” at the counter.

The interior is very clean and organised. They sell bed accessories at very good prices; Australian-made good quality products, and they are fresh and new. They are wide range of good products to offer. The ambience is calm and quiet where you can browse around comfortably. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The parking area is also reasonable big; mostly, I do not have problem finding a spot.

My client is vision impaired and went in the store today. Simone helped her to find what she needed to which my client appreciated a lot. Simone was so lovely and kind and my client wanted to give her a shout out for her efforts. I met her lovely sister at the cashier as well.

Everything is set out nicely, colour coordinated, no musty smell so you feel like you're shopping at a just a regular store. I did find the prices a bit high compared to other Vinnies and other secondhand shops.

I find Ben very helpful and kind, due to being vision impaired he always makes me feel very welcome, he also makes sure he explains everything in detail.He always welcomes my guide dog and myself into his store

Some of the staff is so rude. I walked in, I wasn’t wearing a mask because I have a medical exemption by a doctor and there was 2 women at the register. The one in the glasses instead of asking me nicely to put a mask on or why don’t I have one on, she started gossiping with the other woman next to her about me not wearing a mask. She was speaking loudly so I can hear her. So I turn and I say I have a medical exemption and she started saying some weird staff like everyone says that as an excuse etc. (I didn’t even hear, I walked off cause I didn’t want to argue)Another staff member approached me and was nice to me, probably cause she thought the other one was too rude. And then I bought something and when I went to pay, that same woman who was being annoyed and rude, could not stop coughing. She touched the things that I bought too. Woman, if you’re going to tell me off for not wearing a mask, you might as well stay home for being sick. Jesus some people. I wonder how they have the audacity sometimes..

I was out with my brother and spotted Vinnies on our way back to his place and decided to call in to see what the shop was like inside. Anyway we were pleasantly surprised to find a bright, clean and well organised store staffed by some very helpful and friendly people who were only too happy to assist us when we needed help. Also the prices were very reasonable and after a tough year financially for all of us it was great to pick up some bargains. Thanks Vinnies, I will be shopping here again.
