Veg Burger was best here along with Ginger wine. Loved it.

Good stop on the way to and fro Flinders Chase. Food was fantastic; we had the whiting burger and shark + chips. Vibe was immaculate with the wooden fireplace.

This is a good place to refuel, supply food and water, and rest in Vivonne Bay.

We came here for a late lunch and had the vegan burger and the whiting burger. The vegan burger was delicious! The whiting burger would have been even better with a little more fish.

Worth the drive from American River just for the Calamari….Always take visitors here, this time was no different! Great service, great food, great location. The Whiting burger is so tasty and the chips are delicious as they always have super fresh oil.

We popped in here on our way to Seal Bay from Flinders Chase after reading the great reviews. So happy to report that we were not disappointed. The vegan burger was so fresh and tasty. Chicken burgers were a hit with the meat eaters and the fussy one loved her nuggets and chips. Highly recommend.

Honestly I’ve tried to love this place, gone out there a number of times since new owners and every time the staff (pretty sure the owner) has been really unfriendly and rude. I tell all my friends & family visiting to go there and support small business, we purchase T-shirts and always stop in for lunch if we’re in the area. But I give up! Was just there today, half way through ordering the owner out of the blue stops me and walks off to greet his friends without saying a word to me. I’m left half way through my order whilst the friends are being accommodated. Thankfully another staff member came to the till and took the rest of my order. I’m all up for relaxed and laidback service but this is beyond that. Things alike have happened a few too many times on various visits and left a bad bad taste in my mouth. Disappointing…

The chips were freshly cooked, piping hot, crispy and smothered in chicken salt. Similarly, the calamari rings were fresh and crunchy. The kids cheeseburger is a generous size while the famous whiting burger was scrumptious. It has the cleanest outdoor restroom we've ever come across.

When you are far away from any amenities this little store saved the day. We got fuel for our car (2.40 L) and fuel for our bellies :). The whiting burger was delicious, pricey ($20.00) but got more than what I expected. very tasty and lots of salad. They have cheaper alternatives in the menu if you want something else.
