It's a long time since I've bought new furniture...not something I do very often. When we began working at home, a friend made me a desk from leftover kitchen bench and salvaged desk legs. Now, it's been great and I was really thankful, but the time had come to find something that better accommodated my full-time work-from-home set up. Enter Bushman Dave! I love this trestle table! I could choose the dimensions, and now my desk is deep enough to work really comfortably. It's smooth, sturdy and a gorgeous piece of furniture. When I stop working at home, I love that I can repurpose the trestle however I please or need! In fact, I was so excited about it, I bought Bushman Dave cubes to use as bedside tables. They're just beautiful...smooth, heavy and perfect for bedside. The ordering process, the fact that everything was ready before I expected, and a friendly, careful delivery service all made my experience just perfect. I am so happy to have found Bushman Dave, craftspeople making in Melbourne! Love it!

I ordered 3 pieces from Bushman Dave, sight unseen, but wowed by his positive reviews. I loved the fact that I could customize the size of each of item, that the wood used is reclaimed and that it was made locally. Dave was prompt replying to my questions and overall the service was fantastic. The Bushman Dave site says 5-15 days turnaround on pieces, given I ordered 3 pieces (a dining table, dining bench and a wall-mounted bedhead) I assumed 15-45 days and was super impressed to get a call to say pieces were ready at about the 10 day mark. And my new items, absolutely beautiful pieces, that will last a lifetime! Thanks Dave for making us beautiful furniture and also for making it such a happy and positive experience.
