Despite what many people are writing about, this is not a bad schoolThe teachers on the most part range from good to great, although not all. This is an accepting school, i have yet to have seen any racism and/or sexism from staff in my 5 years of being here. The school is also very accessible to the handicapped, with very progressive programs.Fights are rare, although they do happen. Unfortunately, teachers are limited on what they can do during one of these fights, but this is a fault of the education department policy and not the school. All the buildings are accessible by people that have trouble walking or are in a wheelchair, with ramps leading where stairs do, and the two-story buildings have elevators. This school has great courses, with plenty of options depending on what you want to do in the future. There are also plenty of after school programs, both educational and recreational. The uniform which i have seen has been complained about is not as bad as people think. Although the uniform codes are quite strict, with non-school jumpers, pants and even socks being banned, but there is a reason for this. This is intended to get students to get ready for their future in jobs, where uniforms are likely to be used. This school is quite serious in its education, but there is fun in it too. You only need to look at events such as the river cruise, Year 11/12 ball, and even the butler college festival (like a mini royal show at school) to see that. I have fond memories of Staff dressing up as death eaters, Elmo, the cookie monster for book week, it shows that this can be a fun school as well as serious. My main concerns with this school is the community around it. Unfortunately there are a very vocal minority in this school and the surrounding Butler area that let everyone else down. These are the people that got us on 7 News for a fight that we had just outside our school. It is unfortunate that this has too be the case. The school looks nice, it has plenty of grass and trees to keep up the aesthetics. The cost of coming here is on the higher side as it is an 'independent public school', which may turn some away.

This school was weird but good, there was times were poc students were treated unfairly but can't be surprised, apart from that it was 6/10 and I blew up on tiktok which was fire and had no friends in school :(

Mostly good interaction with the school.i have three children there and there are some excellent dedicated teachers.same as most schools some behavior issues but staff seem to keep on top of it.only down side is the cost.quite strict uniform policy and purchase of a Macbook computer on top of normal back to school cost can be a financial shock and i believe separates the kids into haves and have nots that can lead to underachieving students

this school is one of the best in the world, wonderful cafeteria staff and honestly some staff need to be fired and suspended asap without pay.some kids are absolute cringe and awful, stop putting kids into mainstream if they're from a block

I go to this school as a Year 11 student. I've had my share of ups and downs in the school but the staff are super supportive and the admins are always open to listen to when i have a problem and try their hardest to fix it. My Classes are fun and i enjoy showing up to the faces of my friendly teachers and friends and I'm always happy getting my work done. Without Butler College i wouldn't be able to write my books and do a lot of the basic stuff life needs you to know and do. So yeah i recommend this school.

Butler college is an amazing school with great facilities. I've been there for 6 years and loved it! The school also has a special needs block for students with disabilities. The teachers are very kind and helpful I highly recommend this school!

MethodHeat olive oil in a wide, non-stick pan. Add the onion, ginger, garlic, fennel seeds and cumin seeds and stir over medium heat for 3 minutes.Add the curry powder and stir for 10 seconds. Add the chicken pieces, capsicum and zucchini and stir for 3-4 minutes.Add the pearl couscous and stir gently for 1 minute. Add the simmering stock, stir briefly and bring to a low simmer. Season with salt and pepper, cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring once or twice during the cooking. Add a little water if necessary during the cooking. When it’s ready all the liquid will have been absorbed by the couscous.Stir in the lemon juice and serve garnished with coriander leaves.thats how you make curry
